Di-Higgs results from the ATLAS and CMS experiments
/ Kagan, Michael (SLAC)
/ATLAS ; CMS
Measurements of di-Higgs production are of fundamental importance to understanding the process of electroweak symmetry breaking and the structure of the Higgs potential. While the Standard Model (SM) predicted production crosssection for this process is too small to be observed by current LHC datasets, searches for this process at the ATLAS and CMS experiments can set limits on theSM production rate, anomalous Higgs self-couplings and Beyond the SM di-Higgs interaction vertices, and contributions to this process from new heavy resonances. Studies of open charm production and properties at LHCb
/ O'Hanlon, Daniel (INFN, Bologna)
/LHCb
Copious production of open-charm mesons and baryons at the LHC, in addition to the flexible trigger scheme, and excellent momentum resolution, impact-parameter, and particle identification capabilities of the LHCb detector, results in some of the most precise measurements to-date on the production and properties of open-charm hadrons. In particular, measurements of the $D_s^{+}$ meson production asymmetry at $\sqrt{s} = 7$ and $8$ TeV, and a high precision measurement of the $\Omega_c^0$ baryon lifetime, are presented. [...]

The reactor neutrino anomaly: status and recent developments
/ Dentler, M (Mainz U.) ; Alvaro Hernandez-Cabezudo, A (KIT, Karlsruhe) ; Kopp, J (Mainz U. ; CERN) ; Machado, P (Fermilab) ; Maltoni, M (Madrid, IFT) ; Martinez-Soler, I (Madrid, IFT) ; Schwetz, T (KIT, Karlsruhe)
The observed antineutrino flux from nuclear reactors is consistently lower thanpredicted. This anomaly could hint at oscillations of active neutrinos into anew sterile neutrino species, or it could simply be a reflection ofunderestimated systematic uncertainties in the theoretical flux prediction.
