Deep Learning Approach to Measurement of Higgs Boson CP in the $H\rightarrow \tau \tau $ Decay Channel / Barberio, Elisabetta (Melbourne U.) ; Le, Brian (Melbourne U. ; Cracow, INP) ; Richter-Was, Elzbieta (Jagiellonian U.) ; Was, Zbrigniew (Cracow, INP ; CERN) ; Zanzi, Daniele (Melbourne U.)
The measurement of the Higgs boson CP is amongst the most vital measurements in establishing the nature of the Higgs boson. Of the many decay channels, the ditau final state is one of the most sensitive channels due to the Yukawa coupling allowing access to a potential mixing between CP-even and CP-odd Higgs bosons. [...]

Search for a Higgs Boson in Association with a Pair of Top Quarks with the ATLAS Detector / Wolf, Tim Michael Heinz (Nikhef, Amsterdam)
The production of a Higgs boson in association with a pair of top quarks ($t \bar tH$) is one of the main Higgs production channels at the LHC which is yet unobserved. In the recent publications, the ATLAS Collaboration claims evidence for the process using the data collected in 2015 and 2016 at the LHC. [...]

Search for $t\bar {t}H$, $H \rightarrow b\bar {b}$ at the CMS Experiment in 2016 Using 12.9 fb$^{-1}$ of $pp$ Collision Data / Pata, Joosep (Zurich, ETH)
We present an overview of the search for $t \bar t H$ in the CMS experiment using up to 12.9 fb$^{−1}$ of data collected during 2016. The analysis is carried out in the $H \rightarrow b \bar b$ final state with at least one of the top quarks decaying leptonically, resulting in a multi-parton final state with a combinatorial self-background. [...]

THE PRODUCTION OF REGGE RECURRENCES. / Michael, Christopher (CERN)
For resonance states lying on a given Regge trajectory, the two-body production mechanism as a function of the excitation of the recurrence state is discussed. A dual resonance model suggests general features for the Regge-Regge-particle coupling involved in such production. [...]

Topics in Particle Physics with Colliding Proton Beams / Sens, J C (FOM, Utrecht ; CERN)
We start this set of lectures with a short discussion of the phenomenological facts that one observes in inclusive distrbutions We will present the facts as a set of rules which have definite theoretical biases that will be explained later on..

A review of neutrino properties : Neutrino oscillations - a historical overview and its projection / Minkowski, Peter (Bern U. ; CERN)
In a first part neutrino properties are presented from the beginnings through the letter of Wolfgang Pauli on 4. December 1930 suggesting a new neutral fermion to the “Radioactive Ladies and Gentlemen” at a Conference in Tübingen, contributing to the first oscillation cycle, based on my review at the meeting “Neutrino Telescopes in Venice” in 2005. Heavy ion physics at LHCb / Maurice, Émilie (Orsay, LAL ; Ecole Polytechnique) /LHCb
The LHCb detector, with its excellent momentum resolution and particle identification, is ideally suited for measuring heavy quark hadron and quarkonium production properties. Recent LHCb measurements of charmonium and open charm production in several configurations of proton-nucleus collisions are presented..

Search for magnetic monopoles with the MoEDAL forward trapping detector in 13 TeV proton-proton collisions at the LHC / Lionti, Anthony (Geneva U.) /MoEDAL
The MoEDAL experiment addresses a decades-old issue, the search for an elementary magnetic monopole, first theorised in 1931 by Dirac to explain electric charge quantisation. Since then it was showed that magnetic monopoles occur naturally in grand unified theories as solutions of classical equations of motion. [...]

The AEgIS (Antimatter Experiment: Gravity, Interferometry, Spectroscopy) is a CERN based experiment with the central aim to measure directly the gravitational acceleration of antihydrogen. Antihydrogen atoms will be produced via charge exchange reactions which will consist of Rydberg-excited positronium atoms sent to cooled antiprotons within an electromagnetic trap. [...]
