The micro-RWELL detector for the phase-2 upgrade of the LHCb muon system / Bencivenni, G (Frascati) ; De Oliveira, R (CERN) ; Felici, G (Frascati) ; Gatta, M (Frascati) ; Giovannetti, M (Frascati ; INFN, Rome2) ; Morello, G (Frascati) ; Poli Lener, M (Frascati)
The micro-RWELL detector (μ-RWELL) is a single amplification stage resistive Micro Pattern Gaseous Detector (MPGD), based on a copper-clad polyimide foil patterned with a micro-well matrix coupled with the readout PCB through a DLC resistive film (10÷100MΩ/□). For the phase-2 upgrade of the LHCb experiment, proposed for the LHC Run-5, the excellent performance of the current muon detector will need to be maintained at 40 times the pile-up level experienced during Run-2. Deep learning techniques for energy clustering in the CMS electromagnetic calorimeter / Simkina, Polina (Saclay) /CMS Collaboration
The reconstruction of electrons and photons in CMS depends on the topological clustering of the energy deposited by an incident particle in different crystals of the electromagnetic calorimeter (ECAL). The currently used algorithm cannot account for the energy deposits coming from the pileup (secondary collisions) efficiently. [...]

The Upgrade of LHCb VELO / Zunica, Gianluca (Manchester U.) /LHCb Collaboration
LHCb physics achievements to date include some of the world’s most precise flavour physics measurements, including the CKM phase γ and the discovery of CP violation in the charm sector. These achievements have been possible thanks to the enormous data samples collected and the performance of the subdetectors, with the efficiency and precision of the silicon vertex detector (VELO) being a major contributor to this success. Developments of stitched monolithic pixel sensors towards the ALICE ITS3 / Aglieri Rinella, G (CERN) /ALICE Collaboration
The ALICE collaboration is pursuing the development of a novel and considerably improved vertexing detector called ITS3, to replace the three innermost layers of the Inner Tracker System during the LHC Long Shutdown 3. The primary goals are to reduce the material budget to the unprecedented value of 0.05% X0 per layer, and to place the first layer at a radial distance of 18 mm from the interaction point. [...]

Search for single production of a vector-like T quark decaying into a Higgs boson and top quark with fully hadronic final states using the ATLAS detector / Foo, Joel Hengwei (Toronto U.) /ATLAS Collaboration
A search is made for a vector-like $T$ quark decaying into a Higgs boson and a top quark in 13 TeV proton-proton collisions using the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider with a data sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 139$^{-1}$ fb. The all-hadronic decay modes $H \rightarrow b\bar{b}$ and $t \rightarrow bW \rightarrow bq\bar{q}' $ are reconstructed as large-radius jets and identified using tagging algorithms. [...]

Supernova limits on muonic dark forces / Manzari, Claudio Andrea (UC, Berkeley ; LBL, Berkeley) ; Martin Camalich, Jorge (IAC, La Laguna ; Laguna U., Tenerife ; CERN) ; Spinner, Jonas (U. Heidelberg, ITP ; KIT, Karlsruhe, TTP) ; Ziegler, Robert (Freiburg U. ; KIT, Karlsruhe, TTP)
Proto-neutron stars formed during core-collapse supernovae are hot and dense environments that contain a sizable population of muons. If these interact with new long-lived particles with masses up to roughly 100 MeV, the latter can be produced and escape from the stellar plasma, causing an excessive energy loss constrained by observations of SN 1987A. Deep learning (DL)-based models are the most widely used machine learning models which have been applied to solve numerous problems in high-energy particle physics. The ability of the DL models to learn unique patterns and correlations from data to map highly complex nonlinear functions is a matter of interest. [...]

Measurements of collectivity in the forward region at LHCb / Corredoira, Imanol (Santiago de Compostela U., IGFAE) /LHCb Collaboration
Due to its unique pseudorapidity coverage (2 < 77 < 5) and excellent performance at low pT, the LHCb detector provides measurements of two-particle correlation in a complementary region to other LHC experiments. Ongoing studies in flow at different collision systems and energies, pPb collisions at √SNN = 8 TeV, PbPb collisions at √SNN = 5 TeV, and Bose-Einstein correlations of identical pions for pPb collisions at √SNN = 5 TeV, are summarised..

Quark-gluon plasma evolution and hadronization / Colamaria, Fabio (INFN, Bari) /ALICE Collaboration ; ATLAS Collaboration ; CMS Collaboration ; LHCb Collaboration
Due to the extremely large temperature and energy density reached in ultra-relativistic heavy-ion collisions, a hot and dense state of matter is produced, the quark-gluon plasma (QGP), in which quarks and gluons are deconfined. Due to these properties, this short-lived state shows a very different behaviour compared to ordinary hadronic matter. [...]
