Studies of beauty suppression via nonprompt $D^0$ mesons in PbPb collisions at $\sqrt {s_{NN}} = 5.02$ TeV with the CMS detector / Qiu, Hao (Purdue U.) /CMS
The transverse momentum spectra of $D^0$ mesons from b hadron decays are measured at midrapidity ($|y|<1$) in pp and PbPb collisions at a nucleon--nucleon center of mass energy of 5.02 TeV with the CMS detector at the LHC. The $D^0$ mesons from b hadron decays are distinguished from prompt $D^0$ mesons by their decay topologies. [...]

Exclusive Charmonium production in PbPb and pp collisions at LHCb / Belin, Samuel (U. Cagliari (main) ; INFN, Cagliari) /LHCb
At the LHC, the highly boosted electromagnetic field of the beam particles represents a source of quasi-real photon. Vector meson photo-production measurements in pp/Pb-Pb collisions are sensitive to the gluon parton distribution functions in the proton/nucleus. [...]

Fast timing measurement for CMS RPC Phase-II upgrade / Fagot, A (Gent U.) ; Gul, M (Gent U.) ; Roskas, C (Gent U.) ; Tytgat, M (Gent U.) ; Zaganidis, N (Gent U.) ; Souza, S Fonseca De (Rio de Janeiro State U.) ; Santoro, A (Rio de Janeiro State U.) ; da Silva de Araujo, F Torres (Rio de Janeiro State U.) ; Aleksandrov, A (Sofiya, Inst. Nucl. Res.) ; Hadjiiska, R (Sofiya, Inst. Nucl. Res.) et al. /CMS ; CMS Muon group
With the increase of the LHC luminosity foreseen in the coming years, many detectors currently used in the different LHC experiments will be dramatically impacted and some need to be replaced or upgraded. The new ones should be capable to provide time information to reduce the data ambiguity due to the expected high pileup. [...]

Two-Layer 16 Tesla Cosθ Dipole Design for the FCC / Holik, Eddie Frank (Angelo State U. ; Fermilab) ; Ambrosio, Giorgio (Fermilab) ; Apollinari, Giorgio (Fermilab) /LARP
The Future Circular Collider or FCC is a study aimed at exploring the possibility to reach 100 TeV total collision energy which would require 16 tesla dipoles. Upon the conclusion of the High Luminosity Upgrade, the US LHC Accelerator Upgrade Pro-ject in collaboration with CERN will have extensive Nb3Sn magnet fabrication experience. [...]

Highlights of Searches for Physics Beyond the Standard Model from the CMS Experiment at the LHC / Shmatov, S V (Dubna, JINR ; Dubna Intl. Univ.)
Searches for physics beyond the Standard Model in the Higgs sector with the CMS experiment at the Large Hadron Collider are briefly reviewed. These are based on the CMS data collected during the first and second LHC runs..

Observation of $\pi^- K^+$ and $\pi^+ K^-$ atoms / Yazkov, Valeriy (SINP, Moscow) /DIRAC
Experiment DIRAC at CERN PS detects 349 ± 62 pairs from $\pi^-K^+$ and $\pi^+K^-$ atoms and makes observation of exotic atoms consist of pion and kaon. It allows to measure a difference of S-wave pion-kaon scattering length with isospin 1/2 and 3/2: $|a{_0^{1/2}}−a{_0^{3/2}}|$. [...]

Proposal for enhancement of antihydrogen ion production in the GBAR experiment / Cooke, D A (Zurich, ETH) ; Husson, A (CSNSM, Orsay) ; Lunney, D (CSNSM, Orsay) ; Crivelli, P (Zurich, ETH)
The production of antihydrogen ions (H̅+) in the GBAR experiment will occur via a two step charge exchange process. In a first reaction, the antiprotons(P̅) from the ELENA ring will capture a positron from a positronium(Ps) target producing antihydrogen (H̅) atoms. [...]

A strange program for LHCb / Santos, Diego Martínez (Santiago de Compostela U., IGFAE) /LHCb
The LHCb experiment is expanding its physics program towards studies of rare decays of strange particles. In this talk, we reviewed the published results by LHCb in $K_{S}^{0} \rightarrow \mu ^{+}\mu ^{-}$ and $\sum^{+} \rightarrow p\mu ^{+}\mu ^{-}$ decays, as well as sensitivity studies and prospects for other strangeness decays..

B decay anomalies at LHCb / Oyanguren, Arantza (Valencia U., IFIC) /LHCb
The LHCb collaboration has provided a plethora of precise measurements of flavour observables in the last years. In the B meson sector some of these results show consistent deviations from Standard Model predictions with a clear tendency to specific New Physics scenarios. [...]

Radiative Neutrino Mass Generation: Models, Flavour and the LHC / Volkas, Raymond R (ARC, CoEPP, Melbourne)
Radiative neutrino mass models and the seesaw models are viewed from the unifying framework of standard model effective operators that explicitly violate lepton number by two units (ΔL = 2). After some comments on naturalness and leptogenesis in the minimal type 1 seesaw model, a full list of minimal renormalisable models that produce mass dimension-7, ΔL = 2 operators at low energies is presented. [...]
