Ageing tests of the Hybrid Modules for the ALICE ITS Upgrade / Valle, Nicoló (Genoa U. ; INFN, Genoa) /ALICE Collaboration
The ALICE experiment foresees a comprehensive upgrade during the ongoing long LHC shutdown. A key element is the replacement of the Inner Tracking System (ITS) with a newly constructed silicon based detector allowing a remarkable improvement of the tracking and vertexing capabilities. [...]

Series Production and Test of Hybrid Modules for the ALICE ITS Upgrade / Buckland, Matthew Daniel (Liverpool U.) /ATLAS Collaboration
ALICE is one of the four experiments at the LHC located at CERN. As part of the upgrade of the detector, the current Inner Tracking System (ITS) will be replaced by an all silicon detector constructed from pixel sensors with a pitch of 27 x 29 μm$^2$ using CMOS Monolithic Active Pixel Sensors (MAPs) technology. [...]

X-Ray measurements of radiation hard monolithic CMOS sensors at Diamond Light Source / MALTA Team Collaboration
This contribution outlines the results of investigations into the effects of radiation damage in the mini-MALTA depleted monolithic pixel sensor prototype using a micro-focus X-ray beam at Diamond Light Source. The in-pixel photon response was measured for three different pixel design variations: one with the standard continuous $\mathrm{n^-}$ layer layout and standard front-end, and extra deep p-well and $\mathrm{n^-}$ gap designs with a modified front-end. [...]

TCAD Device Simulations of Irradiated Silicon Detectors / Palomo Pinto, Francisco Rogelio (Seville U.) ; Moll, Michael (CERN) ; Schwandt, Jörn (Hamburg U.) ; Villani, E Giulio (Rutherford) ; Gurimskaya, Yana (CERN) ; Millán, Rafael (Seville U.)
The high hadron fluences expected during the HL-LHC programme will damage the silicon detectors. New TCAD simulation models are needed to understand the expected detector behaviour. [...]

Central Exclusive Production at LHCb / Van Hulse, Charlotte (University Coll., Dublin) /LHCb Collaboration
The LHCb collaboration has measured central exclusive production of $J/\psi$, $\psi(2S)$, and $\Upsilon$ mesons as well as $J/\psi J/\psi$, $J/\psi\psi(2S)$, $\psi(2S)\psi(2S)$, and $\chi_c\chi_c$ meson pairs in proton-proton collisions. The analyses of $\Upsilon$ and charmonium pairs are performed at the centre-of-mass energies of 7 TeV and 8 TeV, and those of $J/\psi$ and $\psi(2S)$ are done at 7 TeV and 13 TeV. [...]

Low dose rate $^{60}$Co facility in Zagreb / Roguljic, Matej (Boskovic Inst., Zagreb) ; Starodumov, Andrey (Boskovic Inst., Zagreb) ; Karadzhinova-Ferrer, Aneliya (Boskovic Inst., Zagreb) ; Ferencek, Dinko (Boskovic Inst., Zagreb) ; Ahmed, Ahmed Abdirashid (Odense U.) ; Jara-Casas, Luis Miguel (CERN)
The Co-60 irradiation facility at Ruđer Bošković Institute in Zagreb allows for gamma irradiation in a large range of doses from a maximum of 30kGy/h down to 30Gy/h. Recently, a setup for the radiation tolerance study of readout electronics has been built inside the irradiation chamber. [...]

$CP$ violation and mixing in charm decays at LHCb / Schubiger, Maxime (Nikhef, Amsterdam) /LHCb Collaboration
The size of $CP$ violation allowed for by the Standard Model is orders of magnitude too small to explain our matter-dominated universe. Processes from physics beyond the Standard Model could enhance this violation and explain the observed asymmetry between matter and antimatter. The charm sector is a relevant probe to search for New Physics processes and is complementary to other searches in the kaon and $B$ systems. Lepton flavour universality tests in rare $b\to s\ell\ell$ decays / Langenbruch, Christoph (RWTH Aachen U.) /LHCb Collaboration
The coupling of the electroweak gauge bosons in the Standard Model is lepton flavour universal. Rare semileptonic $b\to s\ell^+\ell^-$ decays constitute sensitive probes for New Physics models that violate lepton flavour universality. [...]

Angular analysis of $\mathrm{B}\to\mathrm{K}^{(*)}\mu\mu$ decays at CMS / Boletti, Alessio (INFN, Padua ; Padua Observ.) /CMS Collaboration
The flavour changing neutral current decays are interesting probes for new physics searches. The angular distributions of $b \to s \ell^+ \ell^-$ transition processes of both $\mathrm{B}^0 \to \mathrm{K}^{*0} \mu^ +\mu^-$ and $\mathrm{B}^{+} \to \mathrm{K}^{+} \mu^+\mu^-$ decays are studied using a sample of proton-proton collisions at $\sqrt{s} = 8~\mathrm{TeV}$ collected with the CMS detector at the LHC, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of $20.5~\mathrm{fb}^{-1}$. Recent results in kaon physics / Kucerova, Zuzana (Comenius U.) /NA62 Collaboration
A review of the present experimental status of the $K \to \pi \nu \overline{\nu}$ ($K_{\pi \nu \nu}$) and other kaon decay analyses at experiments NA62 (CERN) and KOTO (J-PARC) is given. The $K_{\pi \nu \nu}$ decay is one of the best candidates among the rare meson decays for indirect searches for new physics in the mass ranges complementary to those accessible by current accelerators.
