Searches for lepton flavor and lepton number violation in $K^+$ decays with NA62 / Duk, V (INFN, Perugia) /NA62 Collaboration
The NA62 experiment at the CERN SPS provides unique opportunity to study rare and forbidden decays of $K^{+}$ mesons. Using the data collected in 2017 a search for the lepton number violating decays $K^{+}$ → $\pi^-$ $\mu^+$ $\mu^+$and $K^{+}$ → $\pi^-$ $e^{+}$ $e^{+}$ has been performed. [...]

Charged Kaons semi-leptonic form factors from NA48/2 / Lamanna, G (Pisa U.) /NA48/2 Collaboration
The NA48/2 experiment collected unprecedent statistics of charged kaon decays in 2003 and 2004. The main purpose of the experiment was to measure direct CP violation in kaon decays to three pions while an extensive physics program was carried out together with the main goal. [...]

First observation and study of the $K^{\pm} \rightarrow \pi^{\pm} \pi^0 e^+ e^-$ decay with the NA48/2 experiment at CERN / Bloch-Devaux, B (Turin U.) /NA48/2 Collaboration
The first observation of the rare decay $K^{\pm} \rightarrow \pi^{\pm} \pi^0 e^+ e^-$  is reported by the NA48/2 experiment at CERN, based on 4919 candidates with 4.9% background contamination. From the analysis of 1.7 × 10$^{11}$ kaon decays collected in 2003–2004, the branching ratio in the full kinematic region is measured to be BR ($K^{\pm} \rightarrow \pi^{\pm} \pi^0 e^+ e^-$)= (4.24 ± 0.14) × 10$^{-6}$. [...]

New Result on $K^+ \rightarrow \pi^+ \nu \overline{\nu}$ from the NA62 Experiment / Ruggiero, G (Lancaster U.)
The NA62 experiment at the CERN SPS is designed to measure the branching ratio of the $K^+ \rightarrow \pi^+ \nu \overline{\nu}$ with a decay-in-flight technique and took data in 2016–2018. The statistics collected in 2017 allows NA62 to achieve the best up–to–date single event sensitivity for $K^+ \rightarrow \pi^+ \nu \overline{\nu}$ corresponding to more than 2 Standard Model $K^+ \rightarrow \pi^+ \nu \overline{\nu}$ expected events. [...]

Two years’ test of a temperature sensing system based on fibre Bragg grating technology for the CMS GE1/1 detectors / CMS Muon Group Collaboration
A temperature monitoring system based on fibre Bragg grating (FBG) fibre optic sensors has been developed for the gas electron multiplier (GEM) chambers of the Compact Muon Solenoid (CMS) detector. The monitoring system was tested in prototype chambers undergoing a general test of the various technological solutions adopted for their construction. [...]

The RICH detector of the NA62 experiment / Brizioli, F (INFN, Perugia ; Perugia U.) ; Lollini, R (INFN, Perugia ; Perugia U.) /NA62 Collaboration
The RICH detector of the NA62 experiment is one of the key detectors to achieve the muon rejection needed in the search for the $K^+ \rightarrow \pi^+ \nu \overline{\nu}$ decay, performed by NA62. Since BR($K^+ \rightarrow \pi^+ \nu \overline{\nu}$) is higher than BR($K^+ \rightarrow \pi^+ \nu \overline{\nu}$ ) by more than 9 orders of magnitude, it represents one of the most relevant background contributions. [...]

Exotics and BSM in ATLAS and CMS (Non dark matter searches) / Yuan, Li (Beihang U.) /ATLAS Collaboration ; CMS Collaboration
The Large Hadron Collider at CERN finished the Run 2 data taking by the end of 2018. Both the ATLAS and CMS experiments have recorded about 140 fb$^{-1}$ of proton-proton collision data at $\sqrt{s}$=13 TeV during this period. [...]

Using LHC to Discover the Bilepton / Frampton, Paul H (Salento U. ; INFN, Lecce)
We discuss a minimal and simple extension of the standardelectroweak model and discuss its uniqueness properties. Its most readily testable prediction is the existence of$|Q|= |L|= 2$ gauge bosons, bileptons, which decay intolike-sign lepton pairs. We discuss how a discoverycould be made at the LHC..

MoEDAL physics results and  future plans / Mitsou, Vasiliki A (Valencia U., IFIC) /MoEDAL Collaboration
The MoEDAL experiment at the LHC is optimised to detect highly ionising particles (HIPs) such as magnetic monopoles, dyons and (multiply) electrically charged stable massive particles predicted in various theoretical scenarios. It combines (passive) nuclear track detectors with HIP trapping volumes. [...]
