Brussels (main)) ; De Robertis, G (INFN, Bari) ; Irshad, A (CERN ; Unlisted, PK) ; Licciulli, F (INFN, Bari) ; Loddo, F (INFN, Bari) ; Petrow, H (Lappeenranta U. Tech.) ; Rosa, J (U. Brussels (main)) et al. An analog front-end in 130 (nm) CMOS technology was developed for the readout of triple-GEM detectors in the CMS experiment at CERN. The front-end has programmable peaking time - 15, 25, 35 and 45 (ns) - and gain - 48, 16.4 and 8.6 (mV/fC) - and is able to support a detector capacitance ranging from 0 to 120 (pF). Single Bunch Instabilities in FCC-ee / Belli, Eleonora (CERN) ; Castorina, Giovanni (INFN, Rome) ; Migliorati, Mauro (INFN, Rome) ; Rumolo, Giovanni (CERN) ; Spataro, Bruno (Frascati) ; Zobov, Mikhail (Frascati) FCC-ee is a high luminosity lepton collider with a centre-of-mass energy from 91 to 365 GeV. Due to the machine parameters and pipe dimensions, collective effects due to electromagnetic fields produced by the interaction of the beam with the vacuum chamber can be one of the main limitations to the machine performance. Studies of Longitudinal Dynamics in the Micro-Bunching Instability Using Machine Learning / Boltz, Tobias (KIT, Karlsruhe) ; Brosi, Miriam (KIT, Karlsruhe) ; Bründermann, Erik (KIT, Karlsruhe) ; Müller, Anke-Susanne (KIT, Karlsruhe) ; Schwarz, Markus (CERN) ; Schönfeldt, Patrik (KIT, Karlsruhe) ; Yan, Minjie (KIT, Karlsruhe) The operation of synchrotron light sources with short electron bunches increases the emitted CSR power in the THz frequency range. However, the spatial compression leads to complex longitudinal dynamics, causing the formation of micro-structures in the longitudinal bunch profiles. Design of the New Proton Synchrotron Booster Absorber Scraper (PSBAS) in the Framework of the Large Hadron Collider Injection Upgrade (LIU) Project / Teofili, Lorenzo (U. Rome La Sapienza (main) ; CERN ; INFN, Rome) ; Briz Monago, Jose (CERN) ; Calviani, Marco (CERN) ; Chritin, Nicolas (CERN) ; Esala, Jaakko (CERN) ; Gilardoni, Simone (CERN) ; Lamas Garcia, Inigo (CERN) ; Maestre, Jorge (CERN) ; Migliorati, Mauro (U. Rome La Sapienza (main) ; CERN ; INFN, Rome) ; Polzin, Tobias (CERN) et al. The Large Hadron Collider (LHC) Injector Upgrade (LIU) Project at CERN calls for increasing beam intensity for the LHC accelerator chain. Some machine components will not survive the new beam characteristics and need to be rebuilt for the new challenging scenario. Resonance Identification Studies at the CERN PS / Asvesta, Foteini (Natl. Tech. U., Athens ; CERN) ; Bartosik, Hannes (CERN) ; Huschauer, Alexander (CERN) ; Papaphilippou, Yannis (CERN) ; Sterbini, Guido (CERN) In view of the LHC Injectors Upgrade (LIU) and the challenging high brightness target beam parameters, a broad range of possible working points for the Proton Synchrotron (PS) is being investigated. High order resonances have been identified, both structural resonances driven by space charge due to the lattice harmonics of the PS, and resonances excited by multipolar components in the machine. Search for a new spin-zero resonance in diboson channels at 13 TeV with the CMS experiment / Magitteri, Alessio (Cathol. U. Louvain (main)) /CMS Searches for an additional heavy scalar resonance have been performed by CMS with data collected during 2015 ($2.3$ fb$^{-1}$) and 2016 ($12.9$ fb$^{-1}$) of the LHC at 13 TeV. This document reports searches in the diboson decay channels WW and ZZ. Recent results from kaon physics / Ruggiero, Giuseppe (Lancaster U.) /NA62 The $\pi\nu\nu$ is one of the theoretically cleanest meson decay where to look for indirect effects of new physics complementary to LHC searches. The NA62 experiment at CERN SPS is designed to measure the branching ratio of the $K^+\rightarrow\pi^+\nu\bar{\nu}$ decay with 10\% precision. Charmless $B$ decays at LHCb / Rodrigues, Eduardo (Cincinnati U.) /LHCb A review of the latest analyses from the LHCb experiment on charmless $B$-meson decays is presented. Emphasis is given on the first observation of the rare two-body baryonic decay $B^0 \to p \bar{p}$ and the observation of several multi-body baryonic decays of the $B^0$ and $B_s^0$ mesons. Rare strange decays at LHCb / Ramos Pernas, Miguel (Santiago de Compostela U.) /LHCb Due to the high suppression of $s\rightarrow d$ transitions, the sector of rare strange decays is a particularly powerful probe for New Physics. Assuming non-minimal flavour-violation, bounds from strange decays go up to a scale of $\mathcal{O}\left(10^5\right)\text{TeV}$. Recent results on (anti-)(hyper-)nuclei production in pp, p-Pb and Pb-Pb collisions with ALICE / Trogolo, Stefano (INFN, Turin ; Turin U.) /ALICE The ALICE Collaboration has collected a large data sample of Pb-Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\rm{NN}}}$ = 5.02 TeV in 2015 at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC), which is complementary to that at $\sqrt{s_{\rm{NN}}}$ = 2.76 TeV from Run 1. In these collisions, a great variety of (anti-)(hyper-)nuclei is produced, namely deuteron, triton, $^3$He, $^4$He, hypertriton ($^3_{\Lambda}$H) and their antiparticles.
