Search for single production of vector-like quarks decaying into $Wb$ in $pp$ collisions at $\sqrt{s} = 13$ TeV with the ATLAS detector
A search for singly produced vector-like quarks $Q$, where $Q$ can be either a $T$ quark with charge $+2/3$ or a $Y$ quark with charge $-4/3$, is performed in proton-proton collision data at a centre-of-mass energy of 13 TeV corresponding to an integrated luminosity of $36.1 \text{fb}^{-1}$, recorded with the ATLAS detector at the LHC in 2015 and 2016. Exotics at the LHC / Del Re, Daniele (INFN, Rome ; Rome U.) /ATLAS, CMS and LHCB Collaborations
LHC has worked beautifully and provided more than 100 fb$^{-1}$ at 13 TeV. Thanks to this enormous statistics of p-p collisions, LHC experiments have been able to explore several different new physics scenarios. [...]

Top pair production measurements, inclusive and differential / Fernandez Menendez, Javier (Oviedo U.) /ATLAS, CMS and LHCB Collaborations
Recent results and state-of-the-art on top-quark pair production cross sections in both inclusive and differential measurements are presented, obtained using data collected with the ATLAS, CMS and LHCb experiments during the LHC Run1 and Run2 periods up to the year 2016 at centre-of-mass energies ranging from 5.02 to 13TeV. Results are confronted against Standard Model (SM) next-to-leading order (NLO) and next-to-next-to-leading order (NNLO) predictions, several Monte Carlo (MC) generators and tunes, and parton density function variations, with a special focus on the latest Run2 results..

Top quark properties / Van Mulders, Petra Karel Ann (Vrije U., Brussels) /ATLAS and CMS Collaborations
The multi-purpose experiments at CERN's Large Hadron Collider have a very rich programme in top quark physics. The large amount of data allows for measuring the top quark properties with an unprecedented precision. [...]

Proton PDFs constraints from measurements using the ATLAS experiment / Giuli, F. (Oxford U.)
High-precision measurements of Standard Model processes provide information on different aspects contributing to the process, such as parton distribution functions, and comparisons with the current precision reached theoretically on the calculations of the cross sections of such processes. [...]

Beyond standard model searches on diboson resonances, vector-like quarks, and heavy bosons with top in the final state / Pazzini, Jacopo (INFN, Padua ; Padua U.) /ATLAS and CMS Collaborations
The most recent results in the searches for physics beyond the standard model at the ATLAS and CMS experiments are presented, based on the data collected in proton-proton collisions at the CERN LHC at the center-of-mass energy of $\sqrt{s}=13$~TeV, with emphasis on the production of vector-like quarks and the production of heavy new resonance decaying to third generation SM quarks or gauge bosons. The decay of these new heavy states will present the striking feature of generating highly collimated decay products, as the results of a large Lorentz boost. For this reasons, the reconstruction and identification of hadronic decays are critical to most searches and are described in detail in this contribution..
