QED Corrections to Hadronic Observables / Patella, Agostino (CERN ; Plymouth U., Math. Stat. Dept.) When aiming at the percent precision in hadronic quantities calculated by means of lattice simulations, isospin breaking effects become relevant. These are of two kinds: up/down mass splitting and electromagnetic corrections. The $\Lambda$-parameter in 3-flavour QCD and $\alpha_s(m_Z)$ by the ALPHA collaboration / Bruno, M. (Brookhaven) ; Dalla Brida, M. (INFN, Milan Bicocca ; NIC, Zeuthen ; Milan Bicocca U. ; DESY, Zeuthen) ; Fritzsch, P. (CERN ; Madrid, IFT) ; Korzec, T. (Bergische U., Wuppertal (main)) ; Ramos, A. (CERN) ; Schaefer, S. (NIC, Zeuthen ; DESY, Zeuthen) ; Simma, H. (NIC, Zeuthen ; DESY, Zeuthen) ; Sint, S. (Trinity Coll., Dublin) ; Sommer, R. (NIC, Zeuthen ; Humboldt U., Berlin ; DESY, Zeuthen) We present results by the ALPHA collaboration for the $\Lambda$-parameter in 3-flavour QCD and the strong coupling constant at the electroweak scale, $\alpha_s(m_Z)$, in terms of hadronic quantities computed on the CLS gauge configurations. The first part of this proceedings contribution contains a review of published material \cite{Brida:2016flw,DallaBrida:2016kgh} and yields the $\Lambda$-parameter in units of a low energy scale, $1/L_{\rm had}$. FRB 121102 Casts New Light on the Photon Mass / Bonetti, Luca (Orleans U. ; LPC2E, Orleans) ; Ellis, John (King's Coll. London ; CERN) ; Mavromatos, Nikolaos E. (King's Coll. London ; CERN) ; Sakharov, Alexander S. (New York U. ; Manhattan Coll., Riverdale ; CERN) ; Sarkisyan-Grinbaum, Edward K. (CERN ; Texas U., Arlington) ; Spallicci, Alessandro D. A. M. (Orleans U. ; LPC2E, Orleans) The photon mass, $m_\gamma$, can in principle be constrained using measurements of the dispersion measures (DMs) of fast radio bursts (FRBs), once the FRB redshifts are known. The DM of the repeating FRB 121102 is known to $< 1$\%, a host galaxy has now been identified with high confidence, and its redshift, $z$, has now been determined with high accuracy: $z = 0.19273(8)$. Non-gaussianity of the critical 3d Ising model / Rychkov, Slava (CERN ; Ecole Normale Superieure) ; Simmons-Duffin, David (Princeton, Inst. Advanced Study ; Caltech) ; Zan, Bernardo (ITPP, Lausanne ; CERN) We discuss the 4pt function of the critical 3d Ising model, extracted from recent conformal bootstrap results. We focus on the non-gaussianity Q - the ratio of the 4pt function to its gaussian part given by three Wick contractions. SUSY Meets Her Twin / Katz, Andrey (CERN ; Geneva U., CAP) ; Mariotti, Alberto (Brussels U., IIHE) ; Pokorski, Stefan (Warsaw U.) ; Redigolo, Diego (Tel Aviv U. ; Weizmann Inst.) ; Ziegler, Robert (Karlsruhe U., TTP) We investigate the general structure of mirror symmetry breaking in the Twin Higgs scenario. We show, using the IR effective theory, that a significant gain in fine tuning can be achieved if the symmetry is broken hardly. Determining the CP nature of spin-0 mediators in associated production of dark matter and $t \bar t$ pairs / Haisch, Ulrich (Oxford U., Theor. Phys. ; CERN) ; Pani, Priscilla (Stockholm U. ; CERN) ; Polesello, Giacomo (INFN, Pavia ; CERN) In the framework of spin-0 $s$-channel simplified models, we explore the possibility of assessing the structure of dark matter interactions through the associate production of dark matter and $t\bar{t}$ pairs. To this purpose, final states with two leptons are considered and the kinematic properties of the dilepton system is studied. Phenomenological analysis of associated production of $Z^0+b$ in the $b \rightarrow J/\psi X$ decay channel at the LHC / Lansberg, Jean-Philippe (Orsay, IPN) ; Shao, Hua-Sheng (CERN) The ATLAS collaboration recently reported on the first observation of associated-production of a $Z^0$ boson with a $J/\psi$. We recently claimed that the corresponding yield of the {\it prompt} $J/\psi$ was dominated by double parton scatterings in the ATLAS acceptance with a somewhat small value of $\sigma_{\rm eff}$. Massless Interacting Scalar Fields in de Sitter space / Nacir, Diana López (CERN) ; Mazzitelli, Francisco D (Balseiro Inst., San Carlos de Bariloche) ; Trombetta, Leonardo G (Balseiro Inst., San Carlos de Bariloche) We present a method to compute the two-point functions for an $O(N)$ scalar field model in de Sitter spacetime, avoiding the well known infrared problems for massless fields. The method is based on an exact treatment of the Euclidean zero modes and a perturbative one of the nonzero modes, and involves a partial resummation of the leading secular terms. Likelihood Analysis of Supersymmetric SU(5) GUTs / Bagnaschi, E. (DESY) ; Costa, J.C. (Imperial Coll., London) ; Sakurai, K. (Durham U., IPPP ; Warsaw U.) ; Borsato, M. (Santiago de Compostela U.) ; Buchmueller, O. (Imperial Coll., London) ; Cavanaugh, R. (Fermilab ; Illinois U., Chicago) ; Chobanova, V. (Santiago de Compostela U.) ; Citron, M. (Imperial Coll., London) ; De Roeck, A. (CERN ; Antwerp U.) ; Dolan, M.J. (Melbourne U.) et al. We perform a likelihood analysis of the constraints from accelerator experiments and astrophysical observations on supersymmetric (SUSY) models with SU(5) boundary conditions on soft SUSY-breaking parameters at the GUT scale. The parameter space of the models studied has 7 parameters: a universal gaugino mass $m_{1/2}$, distinct masses for the scalar partners of matter fermions in five- and ten-dimensional representations of SU(5), $m_5$ and $m_{10}$, and for the $\mathbf{5}$ and $\mathbf{\bar 5}$ Higgs representations $m_{H_u}$ and $m_{H_d}$, a universal trilinear soft SUSY-breaking parameter $A_0$, and the ratio of Higgs vevs $\tan \beta$. D = 3 Unification of Curious Supergravities / Duff, M.J. (Imperial Coll., London ; Oxford U., Inst. Math.) ; Ferrara, S. (CERN ; INFN, Italy ; UCLA) ; Marrani, A. (Enrico Fermi Ctr., Rome ; INFN, Padua ; CERN ; Padua U.) We consider the dimensional reduction to D = 3 of four maximal-rank supergravities which preserve minimal supersymmetry in D = 11, 7, 5 and 4. Such "curious" theories were investigated some time ago, and the four-dimensional one corresponds to an N = 1 supergravity with 7 chiral multiplets spanning the seven-disk manifold.
