Integrating out lattice gauge fields / Vairinhos, Helvio (ETH, Zurich (main)) ; de Forcrand, Philippe (ETH, Zurich (main) ; CERN) The sign problem is a major obstacle to our understanding of the phase diagram of QCD at finite baryon density. Several numerical methods have been proposed to tackle this problem, but a full solution to the sign problem is still elusive. Higgs boson gluon-fusion production in N3LO QCD / Anastasiou, Charalampos (Zurich, ETH) ; Duhr, Claude (CERN ; Louvain U., CP3) ; Dulat, Falko (Zurich, ETH) ; Herzog, Franz (NIKHEF, Amsterdam) ; Mistlberger, Bernhard (Zurich, ETH) We present the cross-section for the production of a Higgs boson at hadron-colliders at next-to- next-to-next-to-leading order (N3LO) in perturbative QCD. The calculation is based on a method to perform a series expansion of the partonic cross-section around the threshold limit to an arbitrary order. Addressing the LHC flavour anomalies with horizontal gauge symmetries / Crivellin, Andreas (CERN) ; D'Ambrosio, Giancarlo (CERN ; INFN, Naples) ; Heeck, Julian (Brussels U.) We study the impact of an additional $U(1)'$ gauge symmetry with flavour-dependent charges for quarks and leptons on the LHC flavour anomalies observed in $B \to K^* \mu^+\mu^-$, $R(K) = B \to K \mu^+\mu^-/B \to K e^+e^-$, and $h \to \mu\tau$. In its minimal version with two scalar doublets, the resulting model naturally explains the deviations from the Standard Model observed in $B \to K^* \mu^+\mu^-$ and $R(K)$. On stability of electroweak vacuum during inflation / Shkerin, Andrey (IPT, Lausanne ; Moscow, INR) ; Sibiryakov, Sergey (IPT, Lausanne ; Moscow, INR ; CERN) We study Coleman-De Luccia tunneling of the Standard Model Higgs field during inflation in the case when the electroweak vacuum is metastable. We verify that the tunneling rate is exponentially suppressed. [...] arXiv:1503.02586; CERN-PH-TH-2015-043; INR-TH-2015-008.- 2015 - 9 p. - Published in : Phys. Lett. Robust collider limits on heavy-mediator Dark Matter / Racco, Davide (Geneva U., Dept. Theor. Phys. ; Geneva U., CAP) ; Wulzer, Andrea (Padua U. ; INFN, Padua) ; Zwirner, Fabio (Padua U. ; CERN ; INFN, Padua) We discuss how to consistently use Effective Field Theories (EFTs) to set universal bounds on heavy-mediator Dark Matter at colliders, without prejudice on the model underlying a given effective interaction. We illustrate the method for a Majorana fermion, universally coupled to the Standard Model quarks via a dimension-6 axial-axial four-fermion operator. Spot the stop with a b-tag / Ferretti, Gabriele (Chalmers U. Tech.) ; Franceschini, Roberto (CERN) ; Petersson, Christoffer (Chalmers U. Tech. ; Brussels U., PTM ; Intl. Solvay Inst., Brussels) ; Torre, Riccardo (Padua U. ; INFN, Padua) The LHC searches for light compressed stop squarks have resulted in considerable bounds in the case where the stop decays to a neutralino and a charm quark. However, in the case where the stop decays to a neutralino, a bottom quark and two fermions via an off-shell W-boson, there is currently a significant unconstrained region in the stop-neutralino mass plane, still allowing for stop masses in the range 90-140 GeV. Explaining $h\to\mu^\pm\tau^\mp$, $B\to K^* \mu^+\mu^-$ and $B\to K \mu^+\mu^-/B\to K e^+e^-$ in a two-Higgs-doublet model with gauged $L_\mu-L_\tau$ / Crivellin, Andreas (CERN) ; D'Ambrosio, Giancarlo (CERN ; INFN, Naples) ; Heeck, Julian (Brussels U.) The LHC observed so far three deviations from the Standard Model (SM) predictions in flavour observables: LHCb reported anomalies in $B\to K^* \mu^+\mu^-$ and $R(K)=B\to K \mu^+\mu^-/B\to K e^+e^-$ while CMS found an excess in $h\to\mu\tau$. We show, for the first time, how these deviations from the SM can be explained within a single well-motivated model: a two-Higgs-doublet model with gauged $L_\mu-L_\tau$ symmetry. LHC constraints on gauge boson couplings to dark matter / Crivellin, Andreas (CERN) ; Haisch, Ulrich (CERN ; Oxford U., Theor. Phys.) ; Hibbs, Anthony (Oxford U., Theor. Phys.) Collider searches for energetic particles recoiling against missing transverse energy allow to place strong bounds on the interactions between dark matter (DM) and standard model particles. In this article we update and extend LHC constraints on effective dimension-7 operators involving DM and electroweak gauge bosons. Pinning down top dipole moments with ultra-boosted tops / Aguilar-Saavedra, J A (Granada U., Theor. Phys. Astrophys.) ; Fuks, B (Strasbourg, IReS ; CERN) ; Mangano, M L (CERN) We investigate existing and future hadron-collider constraints on the top dipole chromomagnetic and chromoelectric moments, two quantities that are expected to be modified in the presence of new physics. We focus first on recent measurements of the inclusive top pair production cross section at the Tevatron and at the Large Hadron Collider.
