New results in $\Lambda_{\mathrm{b}}^0$ baryon physics at CMS / Petrov, Nikita (Moscow, MIPT) /CMS Collaboration
The study of excited $\Lambda_{\mathrm{b}}^0$ states and their mass measurement by the CMS experiment is reported, as well as the observation of the $\Lambda_{\mathrm{b}}^0\rightarrow \mathrm{J}/\psi\Lambda\phi$ decay and the measurement of its branching fraction, relative to the $\Lambda_{\mathrm{b}}^0\rightarrow \psi(\mathrm{2S})\Lambda$ decay. Both analyses use proton-proton collision data collected at $\sqrt{s} = 13$ TeV..

Higgs couplings: constraints and sensitivity on Supersymmetry / Mahmoudi, Farvah (IP2I, Lyon ; CERN) ; Arbey, Alexandre (IP2I, Lyon ; CERN) ; Battaglia, Marco (UC, Santa Cruz) ; Djouadi, Abdelhak (Annecy, LAPTH ; NICPB, Tallinn) ; Mühlleitner, Margarete (KIT, Karlsruhe) ; Spira, Michael (PSI, Villigen)
The determination of the fundamental properties of the Higgs boson with sufficient accuracy has crucial implications for physics beyond the Standard Model. Here, we consider Supersymmetry and highlight the complementarity of the Higgs measurements and the superparticle searches at the LHC, based on the 8 and 13 TeV results, in probing its phenomenological minimal version, the pMSSM. Search for New Physics with the SHiP experiment at CERN / Shirobokov, Sergey (Imperial Coll., London) /SHiP Collaboration
The SHiP Collaboration has proposed a general-purpose experimental facility operating in beam dump mode at the CERN SPS accelerator with the aim of searching for light, long-lived exotic particles. The detector system aims at measuring the visible decays of hidden sector particles to both fully reconstructible final states and to partially reconstructible final states with neutrinos, in a nearly background free environment. [...]

Tau identification exploiting deep learning techniques / Cardini, Andrea (DESY) /CMS Collaboration
The recently deployed DeepTau algorithm for the discrimination of taus from light flavor quark or gluon induced jets, electrons, or muons is an ideal example for the exploitation of modern deep learning neural network techniques. With the current algorithm a suppression of misidentification rates by factors of two and more have been achieved for the same identification efficiency for taus compared to the MVA identification algorithms used for the LHC Run-1, leading to significant performance gains for many tau related analyses. Hadronic resonance production measured by ALICE at the LHC / Ganoti, Paraskevi (Athens U.) /ALICE Collaboration
Hadronic resonances with different lifetimes are very useful to probe the hadronic phase of heavy-ion collisions. Due to their relatively short lifetimes compared to the duration of the hadronic phase, resonances are good candidates to investigate the interplay between particle re-scattering and regeneration in the hadronic phase. [...]

FASER: Forward Search Experiment at the LHC / Queitsch-Maitland, Michaela (CERN) /Faser Collaboration
FASER is an approved small and inexpensive experiment designed to search for light, weakly-interacting particles during Run-3 of the LHC. Such particles may be produced in large numbers along the beam collision axis, travel for hundreds of meters without interacting, and then decay to Standard Model particles. [...]

Searches for Dark Photons at LHCb / Cid Vidal, Xabier (Santiago de Compostela U.) /LHCb Collaboration
In the past years, LHCb has shown its capabilities to perform interesting searches for beyond the Standard Model particles. The most clear example of this is that of Dark Photons, which are hypothetical new particles that serve as a "portal" between the Standard Model and a potential hidden dark sector. [...]

Beauty to charmonium decays at LHCb / Li, Peilian (Heidelberg U.) /LHCb Collaboration
The latest results of beauty meson decays to final states with charmonium resonances from LHCb are presented. This includes measurements of time-dependent CP violation parameters in $B_s^0\to J/\psi K^+K^-$ and $B_s^0\to J/\psi\pi^+\pi^-$ decay modes. [...]

Commissioning and prospects of the first GEM station at the CMS experiment / Mocellin, Giovanni (RWTH Aachen U.) /CMS Collaboration
The CMS Collaboration has been developing a Gas Electron Multiplier (GEM) detector in the endcap regions of the CMS muon system to maintain the high level of performance achieved during Run 2 in the challenging environment of the high-luminosity phase of the LHC (HL-LHC). The GEM detectors at endcap station 1 (GE1/1) were installed during the second long shutdown. [...]

Beauty to open charm final states at LHCb / Krupa, Wojciech (AGH-UST, Cracow) /LHCb Collaboration
The LHCb detector at the Large Hadron Collider is designed for Physics beyond the Standard Model searches in charge-parity violation and rare decays. Decays of beauty mesons to open charmfinal states also enable a wide spectrum of spectroscopy studies, especially investigation of $b\bar{b}$ and $b\bar{s}$ systems. [...]
