# CERN Accelerating science

The Preprints collection aims to cover as far as possible all the grey literature in particle physics and its related technologies. The collection contains something like 400,000 documents, out of which about 50% can be accessed electronically. The documents originate from a variety of institutes all over the world. The collection, currently available, starts in 1979 and it has a full coverage of the arXiv.org e-Print archive since its beginning in 1991.

W and Z inclusive and differential cross sections at CMS / Neumeister, Norbert (Purdue U.) /CMS Collaboration We summarize the results of recent studies of the production of W and Z bosons in proton-proton collisions using data collected by the CMS experiment at the CERN Large Hadron Collider during Run I and Run II. The total and differential cross sections measured as a function of various kinematic variables are discussed along with specific studies on the W boson charge asymmetry and the angular coefficients of Z bosons decaying to $\mu^+\mu^-$.. Searches for new physics in dijet and multijet final states with CMS and ATLAS / Bhattacharya, Saptaparna (Northwestern U.) /ATLAS and CMS Collaborations In the Standard Model of Particle Physics (SM), 2 $\rightarrow$ 2 processes are described well by Quantum Chromodynamics (QCD). Any departure from SM expectations implies the existence of New Physics (NP). [...] CMS-CR-2016-366.- Geneva : CERN, 2016 - 8 p. Development of Flexible, Scalable, Low Cost Readout for Beam Tests of High Granularity Calorimeter for the CMS Endcap / Rubinov, Paul (Fermilab) /CMS Collaboration As part of the development of the High Granularity Calorimeter for the CMS Endcap at HL-LHC, The CMS collaboration is conducting a comprehensive series of beam tests. The first beam test, with a single HGC module was carried out in March of 2016 at the Fermilab Test Beam Facility, continuing to a 16 module test in July of 2016. Search for associated production of Higgs bosons and top quarks in multilepton final states at $\sqrt{s}=13$ TeV at CMS / Chanon, Nicolas Pierre (Strasbourg, IPHC) /CMS Collaboration Searches for the production of a standard model (SM) Higgs boson in association with a top quark pair ($t\bar{t}H$) is presented, in the multilepton ($e$, $\mu$, $\tau$) final states. The dataset analyzed corresponds to an integrated luminosity of 35.9 fb$^{-1}$ of proton--proton collisions at $\sqrt{s}=13$ TeV by the CMS experiment in 2016.
