Run 1 Higgs legacy combination / Donato, Silvio (INFN, Pisa ; Pisa, Scuola Normale Superiore) /ATLAS and CMS Collaborations
The discovery of the Higgs boson has been an important success of the LHC Run 1. This document presents the combination of the ATLAS and CMS measurements of the Higgs boson production and decay rates and of the Higgs boson coupling with vector bosons and fermions. [...]

Collectivity of strange hadrons in small and large colliding systems with CMS / Stephans, George Stewart (MIT) /CMS Collaboration
Observation of a long-range, near-side, two-particle correlation (known as the ``Ridge") in high-multiplicity pp and pPb collisions opened up new opportunities of exploring novel QCD dynamics in small collision systems. CMS has excellent capabilities of reconstructing weakly decay strange hadrons such as $K^0_s$, $\Lambda$ and $\Xi^-$. [...]

Higgs boson production at the CMS experiment / Choudhury, Somnath (Bhubaneswar, Inst. Phys.) /CMS Collaboration
After the discovery of the Higgs boson, the ATLAS and CMS experiments have performed combined measurements of the mass of the Higgs boson and also measurements of the production and decay rates, as well as constraints on its couplings to vector bosons and fermions. These combined LHC measurements from the proton-proton collision Run-1 data will be summarized. [...]

Squark/gluino searches in hadronic channels with CMS / Sakuma, Tai (Bristol U.) /CMS Collaboration
These proceedings summarize the results of four analyses which searched for squarks and gluinos in hadronic final states with missing transverse momentum in 2.3~fb$^{-1}$ of data in proton-proton collisions at $\sqrt{s}=13$~TeV collected in the year 2015 with the CMS detector at the CERN LHC. Each analysis is characterized by a different kinematic variable that is sensitive to the presence of invisible particles, e.g., $M_\text{T2}$, $\alpha_{\text{T}}$, and \textit{razor} variables. Sivers asymmetry extracted in SIDIS at the hard scale of the Drell-Yan process at COMPASS / Adolph, C ; Aghasyan, M ; Akhunzyanov, R ; Alexeev, M G ; Alexeev, G D ; Amoroso, A ; Andrieux, V ; Anfimov, N V ; Anosov, V ; Augsten, K et al. /COMPASS
Proton transverse-spin azimuthal asymmetries are extracted from the COMPASS 2010 semi-inclusive hadron measurements in deep inelastic muon-nucleon scattering in those four regions of the photon virtuality $Q^2$, which correspond to the four regions of the di-muon mass $\sqrt{Q^2}$ used in the ongoing analysis of the COMPASS Drell-Yan measurements. This allows for a future direct comparison of the nucleon transverse-momentum-dependent parton distribution functions extracted from these two alternative measurements. [...]

Fractional quantum Hall states of bosons on cones / Wu, Ying-Hai ; Tu, Hong-Hao ; Sreejith, G J
Motivated by a recent experiment which synthesizes Landau levels for photons on cones (Schine {\em et al.}, arXiv: 1511.07381), and more generally the interest in understanding gravitational responses of quantum Hall systems, we study fractional quantum Hall states of bosons on cones. [...]
