Recent results from the strong interaction programme of the NA61/SHINE experiment / Stefanek, Grzegorz (Jan Kochanowski U., Kielce (main)) /NA61/SHINE Collaboration
The exploration of the QCD phase diagram (T-$\mu_{B}$) particularly the search for a phase transition from hadronic to partonic degrees of freedom and the critical point is one of the most challenging theoretical and experimental tasks in present heavy ion physics. Unfortunately the QCD predictions are to a large extent qualitative, as QCD phenomenology at finite temperature and baryon number is one of the least explored domains of the theory. [...]

$K^{*}(892)^0$ production in p+p interactions from NA61/SHINE / Tefelska, Angelika (Warsaw U. of Tech.)
The measurement of $K^*(892)^0$ resonance production via its $K^+ \pi^-$ decay mode in inelastic p+p collisions at beam momenta 40$-$158 GeV/c ($\sqrt{s_{NN}}$=8.8$-$17.3 GeV) is presented. [...]

Highlights from NA61/SHINE: Proton intermittency analysis / Prokhorova, Daria (St. Petersburg State U.) ; Davis, Nikolaos (Cracow, INP) /NA61/SHINE Collaboration
The NA61/SHINE experiment at CERN SPS searches for the critical point of strongly interacting matter via scanning the phase diagram by changing beam momenta (13A–150A GeV/c) and system size (p + p, p + Pb, Be + Be, Ar + Sc, Xe + La). An observation of local proton-density fluctuations that scale as a power law of the appropriate universality class as a function of phase space bin size would signal the approach of the system to the vicinity of the possible critical point. [...]

Hidden strangeness shines in NA61/SHINE / Marcinek, Antoni (Cracow, INP) /NA61/SHINE
Preliminary results on the ϕ (1020) meson production in inelastic proton-proton collisions measured by the NA61/SHINE experiment at the CERN SPS are presented in these proceedings. The results include the first ever differential p T and y measurements at beam momenta of 40 and 80 GeV and the most ever detailed experimental data at 158GeV. [...]

Towards T2K neutrino flux predictions using the replica target measurements by NA61/SHINE / Zambelli, Laura (Annecy, LAPP) ; Fiorentini, A (York U., Canada) ; Vladisavljevic, T (U. Oxford (main) ; Tokyo U., IPMU) /T2K ; NA61/SHINE
The precise knowledge of the neutrino flux composition and kinematics is one of the biggest challenges of long-baseline experiments such as T2K. Neutrinos are made by the in-flight decay of unstable hadrons produced by the interactions of 31GeV/c protons in a long graphite target. [...]

Recent T2K flux predictions with NA61/SHINE thin graphite target measurements / Posiadała-Zezula, Magdalena (Warsaw U.) /T2K ; NA61/SHINE
The T2K neutrino beam predictions require precise knowledge of the hadron production in proton-carbon interactions at 31 GeV/c. Currently one of the largest errors in flux estimates comes from the poor constraints of particle yields off the target. [...]

Hadroproduction experiments to constrain accelerator-based neutrino fluxes / Zambelli, Laura (Annecy, LAPP)
The precise knowledge of (anti-)neutrino fluxes is one of the largest limitation in accelerator-based neutrino experiments. The main limitations arise from the poorly known production properties of neutrino parents in hadron-nucleus interactions. [...]

Charm physics in NA61/SHINE / Brylinski, Wojciech (Warsaw U. of Tech. (main)) /Na61/Shine
NA61/SHINE (SPS Heavy Ion and Neutrino Experiment) is a fixed-target experiment operating at the CERN SPS accelerator. The main goal of the Collaboration is to study the properties of the phase transition between confined matter and quark-gluon plasma by performing a two-dimensional scan of the phase diagram of strongly interacting matter.
