The LHCb Turbo Stream / Benson, Sean (CERN, Geneva, Switzerland,) ; Gligorov, Vladimir (CERN, Geneva, Switzerland,) ; Vesterinen, Mika Anton (Physikalisches Institut, Ruprecht-Karls-Universitat Heidelberg, Heidelberg, Germany) ; Williams, John Michael (Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge, MA, United States) The LHCb experiment will record an unprecedented dataset of beauty and charm hadron decays during Run II of the LHC, set to take place between 2015 and 2018. A key computing challenge is to store and process this data, which limits the maximum output rate of the LHCb trigger. [...] LHCb-PROC-2015-013; CERN-LHCb-PROC-2015-013.- Geneva : CERN, 2015 - 8 p. Optimization of the LHCb track reconstruction / Storaci, Barbara (Physik-Institut, Universität Zürich, Zürich, Switzerland) The LHCb track reconstruction uses sophisticated pattern recognition algorithms to reconstruct trajectories of charged particles. Their main feature is the use of a Hough- transform like approach to connect track segments from different sub-detectors, allowing for having no tracking stations in the magnet of LHCb. Real-time alignment and calibration of the LHCb Detector in Run II / Dujany, Giulio (School of Physics and Astronomy, University of Manchester, Manchester, United Kingdom) ; Storaci, Barbara (Physik-Institut, Universität Zürich, Zürich, Switzerland) Stable, precise spatial alignment and PID calibration are necessary to achieve optimal detector performance. During Run2, LHCb will have a new real-time detector alignment and calibration to allow equivalent performance in the online and offline reconstruction to be reached. Measurement of $CP$-Violating Phases in $B$ Decays at LHCb / Hussain, Nazim (University of Oxford, United Kingdom) A selection of recent LHCb results pertaining to measurements of the CKM unitarity triangle are presented. In these proceedings, I summarise a measurement of $\sin(2\beta)$, the most precise time-dependent $CP$ violation measurement made at a hadron collider yet, as well as the latest LHCb $\gamma$ combination, a measurement of greater precision than the $B$ factories. Study of photon reconstruction efficiency using $B^+\to J/\psi K^{(*)+}$ decays in the LHCb experiment / Govorkova, Ekaterina (Institute of Theoretical and Experimental Physics (ITEP), Moscow, Russia) The reconstruction efficiency of photons and neutral pions is measured using the relative yields of reconstructed $B^+\to J/\psi K^{*+} (\to K^+\pi^0)$ and $B^+\to J/\psi K^+$decays. The efficiency is studied using the data set, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of $3~\mathrm{fb}^{-1}$, collected by the LHCb experiment in proton-proton collisions at the centre-of-mass energies of 7 and 8 $TeV$.. CP violation measurements at the LHCb experiment / Pescatore, Luca (University of Birmingham, Birmingham, United Kingdom) Decays of b-hadrons are the ideal place to perform measurements of CP violation. Many decay channels allow to over-constrain the unitarity triangles of the CKM matrix and test the SM hypothesis that a single phase is the origin of all CP violation. Rare decays at the LHCb experiment / Pescatore, Luca (University of Birmingham, Birmingham, United Kingdom) Rare decays of beauty and charm hadrons offer a rich playground to make precise tests of the Standard Model and look for New Physics at the level of quantum corrections. A review of recent LHCb results will be presented.. LHCb-PROC-2015-007; CERN-LHCb-PROC-2015-007.- Geneva : CERN, 2015 - 5 p. An analysis of $\Lambda_b^0 \rightarrow \Lambda\mu^+\mu^-$ decays at the LHCb experiment / Pescatore, Luca (University of Birmingham, GB) The branching fraction of the rare decay $\Lambda_b^0 \rightarrow \Lambda \mu^+ \mu^-$ is measured as a function of $q^2$, the square of the dimuon invariant mass. The analysis is performed using proton-proton collision data, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 3.0 fb$^{-1}$, collected by the LHCb experiment. Evaporative CO$_2$ microchannel cooling for the LHCb VELO pixel upgrade / de Aguiar Francisco, Oscar A (Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), Rio de Janeiro, Brazil) ; Buytaert, Jan (CERN, Geneva, Switzerland) ; Collins, Paula (CERN, Geneva, Switzerland) ; Dumps, Raphael (CERN, Geneva, Switzerland) ; John, Malcolm (Department of Physics, University of Oxford, Oxford, United Kingdom) ; Mapelli, Alessandro (CERN, Geneva, Switzerland) ; Romagnoli, Giulia (CERN, Geneva, Switzerland) The LHCb Vertex Detector (VELO) will be upgraded in 2018 to a lightweight pixel detector capable of 40 MHz readout and operation in very close proximity to the LHC beams. The thermal management of the system will be provided by evaporative CO$_2$ circulating in microchannels embedded within thin silicon plates. Measuring Semileptonic Asymmetries in LHCb / Klaver, Suzanne (School of Physics and Astronomy, University of Manchester, Manchester, United Kingdom) The $CP$-violating flavour-specific asymmetry in neutral $b$ mesons provides a method for testing the Standard Model. The measurements from the D0 experiment yield values of this asymmetry that disagree with the Standard Model at a level of 3.6 $\sigma$.
