New results on collectivity with LHCb / Kopecna, Renata (Ruprecht Karls Universitaet Heidelberg (DE)) Two-particle angular correlations are studied in $pp$ collisions at $\sqrt s = 13~ \text {TeV}$, collected with the LHCb detector at the LHC. The LHCb detector provides measurement in the very forward region, $2 < \eta < 5$. [...] LHCb-PROC-2017-033; CERN-LHCb-PROC-2017-033.- Geneva : CERN, 2017 - 6. Mixing and $CP$ violation results in $b$-hadron decays at LHCb / Liu, Xuesong (Tsinghua University (CN)) Measurements of mixing and CP violation in $b$-hadron decays are great probes to search for physics beyond the Standard Model. A selection of recent results based upon $3.0\ \mathrm{fb}^{-1}$ of LHCb data are presented [...] LHCb-PROC-2017-032; CERN-LHCb-PROC-2017-032.- Geneva : CERN, 2017 - 7. Measurement of the /CP violation phase $\phi_s$ at LHCb / Wang, Mengzhen (Tsinghua University (CN)) The measurement of the mixing- induced CP- violating phase $\phi_s$ in the $B^0_s$ - $B^0_s$ system is one of the key goals of the LHCb experiment, and provides an excellent opportunity to search for New Physics beyond Standard Model. Using Run-I data, $\phi_s$ has been measured in several decay channels. [...] LHCb-PROC-2017-031; CERN-LHCb-PROC-2017-031.- Geneva : CERN, 2017 - 5. Measurements of soft QCD and double parton scattering at LHCb / An, Liupan (Tsinghua University (CN)) Soft QCD and double parton scattering are of great interest in high energy physics. They are both actively studied at the LHCb experiment. [...] LHCb-PROC-2017-030; CERN-LHCb-PROC-2017-030.- Geneva : CERN, 2017 - 6. Novel strategies at Lhcb for particle identification / Ferrari, Fabio (Universita e INFN, Bologna (IT)) The LHCb experiment at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) is performing high precision measurements in the avour sector. An excellent performance of the particle identication (PID) detectors as well as the development of new data taking techniques are of fundamental importance in order to cope with increasingly harder challenges posed by the LHC Run 2 [...] LHCb-PROC-2017-029; CERN-LHCb-PROC-2017-029.- Geneva : CERN, 2017 - 6. Measurement of the phase $\phi_s$ at LHCb / Batozskaya, Varvara (National Centre for Nuclear Research (PL)) One of the key goals of the LHCb experiment is the determination of the CP-violating phase $\phi_{s}$ in $\bar{b}\rightarrow \bar{c}c\bar{s}$ decays. Its value is predicted to be very small in the Standard Model. [...] LHCb-PROC-2017-028; CERN-LHCb-PROC-2017-028.- Geneva : CERN, 2017 - 6. Fixed-target physics at LHCb / Maurice, Emilie Amandine (Universite de Paris-Sud 11 (FR)) The LHCb experiment has the unique possibility, among the LHC experiments, to be operated in fixed target mode, using its internal gas target SMOG. The energy scale achievable at the LHC and the excellent detector capabilities for vertexing, tracking and particle identification allow a wealth of measurements of great interest for cosmic ray and heavy ions physics. New results in LU/LFV tests with LHCb / Prisciandaro, Jessica (Universidade de Santiago de Compostela (ES)) During the Run 1 of the LHC, the LHCb experiment has collected a large sample of beauty-hadrons that corresponds to an integrated luminosity of 3.0 fb$^{−1}$ at $pp$ centre-of-mass energy of 7 and 8 TeV. In the following, an overview of the rare decay measurements the LHCb collaboration performed during Run 1 is presented. Tests of lepton flavour universality with semileptonic decays at LHCb / Betti, Federico (Universita e INFN, Bologna (IT)) The observable $\mathcal{R} \left( D^{(*)} \right) = \mathcal{B}\left( B^{0}\to D^{(*)-} \tau^{+} \nu_{\tau} \right) / \mathcal{B}\left( B^{0}\to D^{(*)-} \mu^{+} \nu_{\mu} \right)$ is a probe for Lepton Universality violation, so it is sensitive to New Physics processes. The current combination of the measurements of $\mathcal{R} \left( D^{(*)} \right)$ differs from Standard Model predictions with a $4\sigma$ significance [...] LHCb-PROC-2017-025; CERN-LHCb-PROC-2017-025.- Geneva : CERN, 2017 - 6. Tests of Lepton Flavour Universality with $b \rightarrow sll$ transitions at LHCb / Andreassi, Guido (Ecole Polytechnique Federale de Lausanne (CH)) Semileptonic $b \rightarrow sll$ processes constitute a good probe for new physics phenomena: new particles contributing to the loops could affect branching fractions and angular distributions, and have different couplings to different lepton families, thus violating lepton flavour universality. Recent results from the LHCb experiment are reviewed.. LHCb-PROC-2017-024; CERN-LHCb-PROC-2017-024.- Geneva : CERN, 2017 - 6.
