Status of New Physics searches with $b \to s \ell^+ \ell^-$ transitions @ LHCb / Bifani, Simone (University of Birmingham (GB))
Rare decays of heavy-flavoured particles provide an ideal laboratory to look for deviations from the Standard Model, and explore energy regimes beyond the LHC reach. Decays proceeding via electroweak penguin diagrams are excellent probes to search for New Physics, and $b \to s \ell^+ \ell^-$processes are particularly interesting since they give access to many observables such as branching fractions, asymmetries and angular observables. The branching fraction and effective lifetime of $B_{(s)}^{0} \rightarrow \mu^+ \mu^-$ at LHCb with Run 1 and Run 2 data / Mulder, Mick (Nikhef National institute for subatomic physics (NL))

Charmless $b$-meson and $b$-baryon decays at LHCb / Nasteva, Irina (Univ. Federal do Rio de Janeiro (BR))
The latest LHCb results for charmless $b$-meson and $b$-baryon decays, using Run I data collected by the LHCb experiment at centre-of-mass energies of 7 and 8 TeV, are presented. The search for charmless three-body decays of the $\Lambda_b^0$ and $\Xi_b^0$ baryons to the final states $\Lambda h^+h^{\prime -}$ ($h^{(\prime)} = \pi$ or $K$) results in the first observation of $\Lambda_b^0 \to \Lambda K^+\pi^-$ and $\Lambda_b^0 \to \Lambda K^+K^-$ decays and measurements of their branching fractions and \CP asymmetries, as well as evidence of the $\Lambda_b^0 \to \Lambda \pi^+\pi^-$ decay and limits on the branching fractions of $\Xi_b^0$ baryon decays.
