CMS measurements of EFT parameters with top quarks / Tonon, Nicolas (DESY) /CMS Collaboration
Measurements carried out or reinterpreted within the framework of effective field theory (EFT) will constitute a key component of the LHC legacy in the quest towards physics beyond the standard model. Numerous EFT measurements were already published by the CMS Collaboration. In the top quark sector, four distinct approaches to EFT have been identified, each successfully applied in several analyses. We review the pros and cons of each approach, while illustrating them with recent analyses in which they were adopted..

Measurements of ${\rm t\bar t+jets}$, ${\rm t\bar t+b\bar b}$ production, and ${\rm t\bar tt\bar t}$ production at CMS / Castro, Andrea (INFN, Bologna ; Bologna U.) /CMS Collaboration
The most recent CMS measurements of the production of ${\rm t\bar t}$ pairs with two additional jets, or two additional b quarks, are presented. These two processes are important for several reasons: they can allow a better modeling of Monte Carlo simulations, because of the different energy scale associated to b-jets and generic jets; they are important backgrounds to other standard model processes; and they might be related to new physics.
