Dark Matter searches at CMS / Kumar, Ashok (Delhi U.) /CMS Collaboration This talk describes searches for directly produced Dark Matter particles in CMS. The searches are performed using the datasets recorded with the CMS detector in proton-proton collisions at center-of-mass energies of 8 and 13 TeV. [...] CMS-CR-2016-159.- Geneva : CERN, 2016 - 6 p. The High Level Trigger of the CMS experiment / Gao, Xuyang (BeiHang U.) /CMS Collaboration The CMS experiment has been designed with a 2-level trigger system the Level 1 Trigger, implemented on custom-designed electronics, and the High Level Trigger, a streamlined version of the CMS offline reconstruction software running on a computer farm. In this poster we will present the performance with the specific algorithms developed to cope with the increasing LHC pile-up and bunch crossing rate using 13 TeV data during 2015, and prospects for improvements brought to both L1T and HLT strategies to meet the new challenges for 2016 scenarios with a peak instantaneous luminosity of $1.2 \times 10^{34}$cm$^{-2}$s$^{-1}$ and 30 pileup events.. Single top cross section and properties measurements in CMS / Komm, Matthias (Louvain U.) /CMS Collaboration Single top quarks can be produced via the t, tW, and s channel. Studying these processes provides a test of the theory of electroweak interactions involving heavy quarks. [...] CMS-CR-2016-191.- Geneva : CERN, 2016 - 9 p. Search for the standard model Higgs boson produced in vector boson fusion and decaying to bottom quarks using the Run1 and 2015 Run2 data samples. / Chernyavskaya, Nadezda (Zurich, ETH) /CMS Collaboration A search for the standard model Higgs boson is presented in the Vector Boson Fusion production channel with decay to bottom quarks. A data sample comprising 2.2 fb$^-1$ of proton-proton collision at $\sqrt{s}$ = 13 TeV collected during the 2015 running period has been analyzed. [...] CMS-CR-2016-196.- Geneva : CERN, 2016 - 7 p. The CMS Fast Beams Condition Monitor Backend Electronics based on MicroTCA technology / Zagozdzinska, Agnieszka Anna (CERN) /CMS Collaboration The Fast Beams Condition Monitor (BCM1F), upgraded for LHC Run II, is one sub-system of the Beam Radiation Instrumentation and Luminosity Project of the CMS experiment. It is based on 24 single crystal CVD diamond sensors. [...] CMS-CR-2015-315.- Geneva : CERN, 2015 - 8 p. Instrumentation for beam radiation and luminosity measurement in the CMS experiment using novel detector technologies / Guthoff, Moritz (CERN) /CMS Collaboration The higher energy and luminosity of the LHC initiated the development of dedicated technologies for radiation monitoring and luminosity measurement. A pixelated luminosity detector counts coincidences in several three layer telescopes of silicon pixel detectors to measure the luminosity for each colliding LHC bunch pair. Performance requirements for the Phase-2 Tracker Upgrades for ATLAS and CMS / Abbaneo, Duccio (CERN) /ATLAS and CMS Collaborations The High-Luminosity operation of the LHC poses unprecedented challenges for the design of the Upgraded Trackers of ATLAS and CMS. The stringent requirements imposed by the high particle density and integrated fluency reduce the phase-space of valid technical solutions, inducing both Collaborations to design all-silicon trackers. Measurement of CP violation in $\mathrm{B_s} \rightarrow$ J$/\psi \phi$ decays with the CMS experiment / Jarvinen, Terhi Tuuli (Helsinki Inst. of Phys.) /CMS Collaboration The CP violating weak phase $\phi_s$ and the decay width difference $\Delta \Gamma_s$ of the $\mathrm{B_s}$ light and heavy mass eigenstates are measured with the CMS detector at the LHC using a data sample of $\mathrm{B_s}$ $\to$ $J/\psi \phi(1020) \to \mu^{+} \mu^{-} \mathrm{K}^{+} \mathrm{K}^{-}$ decays. The analysed data correspond to an integrated luminosity of 19.7 fb$^{-1}$ and it is collected in pp collisions at a centre-of-mass energy of 8 TeV. [...] CMS-CR-2016-166.- Geneva : CERN, 2016 - 9 p.
