Higgs physics with hadronic signatures at ATLAS and CMS / Schroder, Matthias (KIT, Karlsruhe, EKP) /ATLAS and CMS Collaborations Precise measurement of the properties of the Higgs boson is of paramount interest in order to verify the standard model nature of the Higgs sector or discover new physics. Crucial information is obtained from investigation of hadronic final states, which offer, for example, a direct probe of the couplings to top or bottom quarks. Searches with boosted objects at ATLAS and CMS / Moran, Dermot Anthony (Madrid, CIEMAT) /ATLAS ,CMS and SUSY Collaborations An overview of searches for beyond the standard model physics using boosted objects is presented. The searches are based on proton-proton collision data collected with the ATLAS and CMS detectors at the LHC during the 2015 and 2016 running periods.. CMS-CR-2018-048.- Geneva : CERN, 2018 - 5 p. Search for high-mass resonances in the dilepton final state in p-p collisions at $\sqrt{s}$ = 13 TeV with 2016 and 2017 data sets with the CMS detector / Errico, Filippo (INFN, Bari ; Bari U.) /CMS Collaboration A search for new high-mass resonances decaying into electron or muon pairs has been performed using data collected at a centre-of-mass energy of 13 TeV by the CMS experiment at the CERN LHC in 2016, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 36 fb$^{-1}$; preliminary results using 2017 data, corresponding to 43 fb$^{-1}$ are shown. Upper limits on the product of production cross section and branching fraction are calculated in a model-independent manner which permits the interpretation of the limits in all models predicting a narrow dielectron or dimuon resonance structure, including the Sequential Standard Model, a Superstring inspired model or the Randall-Sundrum Model with the Kaluza-Klein graviton. Search for single production of vector-like quarks decaying to a b quark and a Higgs boson / Rauco, Giorgia (Zurich U.) /CMS Collaboration A search is presented for single production of heavy vector-like quarks (B) that decay to a Higgs boson and a b quark, with the Higgs boson decaying to a highly boosted bb pair reconstructed as a single collimated jet. The analysis is based on data collected by the CMS experiment in proton-proton collisions at 13 TeV, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 35.9 fb$^{-1}$. Rare decays of the Higgs boson with the CMS detector / Marini, Andrea Carlo (MIT) /CMS Collaboration The CMS collaboration reports the latest update on the searches of invisible and rare decays of the Higgs boson. The searches for the standard model Higgs boson decaying into two muons, for the standard model Higgs boson decaying into $\ell\ell\gamma$, and for invisible decay of the Higgs boson in the vector boson fusion production channel are presented.. Search for heavy neutral leptons, right-handed neutrinos and long-lived particles with the CMS detector / Negro, Giulia (IRFU, Saclay) /CMS Collaboration A selection of recent CMS results on heavy neutral leptons, right-handed neutrinos and long-lived particles is reported. The search for heavy neutral leptons in the trilepton channel and in the same-sign dilepton channel, the search of a $W_R$ decaying into two leptons and two jets through a right-handed neutrino, and the searches on stopped long-lived particles and disappearing tracks are presented.. Search for leptoquarks in CMS / Takahashi, Yuta (Zurich U.) /CMS Collaboration Leptoquarks (LQs) are hypothetical bosons, each coupling to a lepton and a quark of a given generation. They recently got particular attention, as the TeV-scale LQ'' might explain observed anomalies reported by dedicated B physics experiments. [...] CMS-CR-2018-049.- Geneva : CERN, 2018 - 7 p. The data corresponds to an integrated luminosity of $35.9~\mathrm{fb}^{-1}$ recorded by the CMS detector at the CERN LHC in 2016. [...] CMS-CR-2018-047.- Geneva : CERN, 2018 - 7 p. SUSY searches in the context of R-parity violation with CMS data / Seitz, Claudia (Zurich U.) /CMS Collaboration Several searches for supersymmetric particles are presented using data collected by the CMS experiment during Run 2 of the LHC. With rather stringent limits placed on R-parity conserving models, we explore three different scenarios where R-parity is not conserved. In these cases the lightest supersymmetric particle is not required to be stable, and can decay exclusively into known standard model particles. Different coupling scenarios and coupling strengths are possible, however, the focus here lies on prompt hadronic R-parity violating decays.. CMS-CR-2018-035.- Geneva : CERN, 2018 - 8 p. Search for exotic Higgs boson decays to pairs of light pseudoscalars with the CMS detector / Caillol, Cecile (Wisconsin U., Madison) /CMS Collaboration Searches for exotic Higgs boson decays to pairs of light pseudoscalars are performed using the data collected by the CMS experiment at center-of-mass energies of 8 and 13 TeV. The results are interpreted in different scenarios of two Higgs doublet models extended by a scalar singlet. [...] CMS-CR-2018-030.- Geneva : CERN, 2018 - 7 p.
