Input Mezzanine Card for the Fast Tracker at ATLAS / Iizawa, Tomoya (Waseda University, Waseda Research Institute for Science and engineering (WISE)) /ATLAS Collaboration
The Fast Tracker (FTK) is an integral part of trigger upgrade program for the ATLAS experiment. At LHC Run 2, which started operations in June 2015 at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV, the luminosity could reach up to 2*1034 cm-2s-1 and an average of 40-50 simultaneous proton collisions per beam crossing will be expected. Alignment of the ATLAS Inner Detector / Marti-Garcia, Salvador (Instituto de Fisica Corpuscular (IFIC), Centro Mixto Universidad de Valencia - CSIC) /ATLAS Collaboration
The Run-2 of the LHC has presented new challenges to track and vertex reconstruction with higher energies, denser jets and higher rates. In addition, the Insertable B-layer (IBL) is a fourth pixel layer, which has been deployed at the centre of ATLAS during the longshutdown-1 of the LHC. [...]

Supersymmetry searches in ATLAS / Torro Pastor, Emma (Department of Physics, University of Washington, Seattle) /ATLAS Collaboration
Weak scale supersymmetry remains one of the best motivated and studied Standard Model extensions. This talk summarises recent ATLAS results for searches for supersymmetric (SUSY) particles. [...]

Angular Correlations as a function of multiplicity in pp and p-Pb collisions in the ATLAS experiment / Kar, Deepak (School of Physics, University of the Witwatersrand) /ATLAS Collaboration
ATLAS measurements of correlations between particle pairs in relative azimuthal angle ($\Delta \phi$) and pseudorapidity separation ($\Delta\eta$), in pp collisions at $\sqrt{s}$=2.76, 5.02 and 13 TeV, and in p+Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{NN}}$=5.02 TeV are presented. Prior measurements have shown that in pp collisions with a large multiplicity of produced particles, a long-range structure, commonly called the “ridge”, develops along $\Delta\eta$ at $\Delta\phi \approx 0$. Jet studies in heavy ion collisions with the ATLAS detector / Slovak, Radim (Charles University in Prague, Faculty of Mathematics and Physics) /ATLAS Collaboration
In relativistic heavy ion collisions, a hot medium with a high density of unscreened color charges is produced. Jets are produced at the early stages of this collision and are known to become attenuated as they propagate through the hot matter. [...]

Triggering of Pb+Pb collisions at 5.02TeV with the ATLAS detector / Slovak, Radim (Charles University in Prague, Faculty of Mathematics and Physics) /ATLAS Collaboration
With an recording rate of around 1kHz, it was not possible to record all events during the heavy ion run in 2015 given the inelastic Pb+Pb collision rate of more than 20 kHz with the ALTAS experiment at the HLT. To reduce the event rate but to still maintain a high efficiency of selecting events of interest, dedicated algorithms were put in place to collect the most interesting trigger signatures like jet, e/gamma, muon, central and azimuthally asymmetric events as well as a sizable minimum bias sample. [...]
