Quality control for ATLAS ITk strip sensor production / Klein, Christoph (Cavendish Laboratory, University of Cambridge) /ATLAS Collaboration With the upgrade of the LHC to the High-Luminosity LHC (HL-LHC), scheduled to commence in 2024, the Inner Detector will be replaced with the new all-silicon ATLAS Inner Tracker (ITk) to maintain tracking performance in this high-occupancy environment and to cope with the increase of approximately a factor of ten in the integrated radiation dose. The outer four layers in the barrel and six disks in the endcap region will consist of strip modules, built with single-sided strip sensors and glued-on hybrids carrying the front-end electronics necessary for readout. New search results for low-mass dijet resonances using trigger-level jets at ATLAS / Kalderon, Charles William (Lunds universitet, Fysiska institutionen) /ATLAS Collaboration The LHC delivers an unprecedented number of proton-proton collisions to its experiments. In kinematic regimes first studied by earlier generations of collider experiments, the limiting factor to more deeply probing for new physics can be the online and offline computing, and offline storage, requirements for the recording and analysis of this data. Search for type-III seesaw heavy leptons in proton-proton collisions at $\sqrt{s}= 13$ TeV with the ATLAS detector / Novak, Tadej (Jozef Stefan Institute) /ATLAS Collaboration A search for the pair production of heavy leptons ($N^0$, $L^\pm$) as predicted by the type-III seesaw mechanism is presented. The search uses proton-proton collision data at a centre-of-mass energy of 13 TeV corresponding to 79.8 fb$^{-1}$ of integrated luminosity recorded in 2015, 2016 and 2017 by the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider. Top quark pair property measurements using the ATLAS detector at the LHC / Kluth, Stefan (Max-Planck-Institut fuer Physik) /ATLAS Collaboration Precise measurements of the properties of the top quark test the Standard Model (SM) and can be used to constrain new physics models. As it may be significantly enhanced by the presence of new physics, the ttbar production charge asymmetry is measured inclusively and differentially using the 8 TeV ATLAS dataset using both the lepton+jets and dilepton channels, including a dedicated measurement for highly boosted top-quarks.
