 Strangeness and hadronic resonance production in pp, p-Pb and Pb-Pb collisions measured by ALICE at the LHC / Song, Jihye (Pusan Natl. U.) /ALICE Collaboration The measurement of strangeness production is one of the powerful tools to study the thermal properties of the QGP and while strangeness enhancement is a well established experimental observation in heavy ion collisions, its interpretation is still debated. In particular the study of (multi-)strangeness particle production as a function of the event multiplicity in different collision systems, reported by ALICE, has shown a smooth increase of strange particle yields with respect to yields of non-strange particles.  Dielectron Production in pp Collisions at $\sqrt s =$ 13 TeV Measured in a Dedicated Low Magnetic-Field Setting with ALICE / Jungon, Jerome (Frankfurt U.) /ALICE Collaboration The low-mass dielectron production in pp collisions at s = 13 TeV was measured by ALICE with a reduced field of the ALICE central barrel solenoid magnet. This increases the reconstruction efficiency of low- p T electrons and allows a better electron background rejection while simultaneously giving the opportunity to access a similar phase space as covered by the AFS experiment at the Intersecting Storage Rings at CERN.  Study of in-Medium Energy Loss with Heavy-Flavour Correlations in pp and Pb-Pb Collisions with ALICE at the LHC / Sadhuon, Samrangy (Calcutta, VECC ; HBNI, Mumbai) /ALICE Collaboration The azimuthal correlations between heavy-flavour hadrons or heavy-flavour decay electrons with charged particles in Pb-Pb collisions give insight on the modification of charm-jet properties in nucleus-nucleus collisions and the mechanisms through which heavy quarks in-medium energy-loss takes place.
