Study of prompt $D^0$ meson production in $p$Pb at $\sqrt{s_{\mathrm{NN}}}= 8.16$ TeV at LHCb /LHCb Collaboration
The production of prompt $D^0$ mesons in proton-lead collisions in the forward and backward configurations is studied. The data are collected with the LHCb detector at a center-of-mass energy per nucleon pair of $\sqrt{s_{\mathrm{NN}}}= 8.16$ TeV and correspond to an integrated luminosity of $12.2\pm0.3~\mathrm{nb}^{-1}$ ($18.6\pm0.5~\mathrm{nb}^{-1}$) in the forward (backward) configuration.
