Search for critical point via intermittency analysis in NA61/SHINE
/ Czopowicz, Tobiasz (Jan Kochanowski U.)
/NA61/SHINE Collaboration
One of the main goals of NA61/SHINE, a fixed-target experiment at the CERN SPS, is the search for the critical point of strongly interacting matter. The comprehensive data collected during a two-dimensional scan in beam momentum (13$A$-150$A$ GeV/$c$) and system size (p+p, p+Pb, Be+Be,
Ar+Sc, Xe+La, Pb+Pb) allows, in particular, for a systematic search for an enhancement of fluctuations of various observables. [...]

Search for the critical point of strongly interacting matter (Intermittency analysis by NA61/SHINE at CERN SPS)
/ Adhikary, Haradhan (Jan Kochanowski U.)
/NA61/SHINE Collaboration
The existence and location of the QCD critical point is an object of both experimental and theoretical studies. The comprehensive data collected by NA61/SHINE during a two-dimensional scan in beam momentum (13A-150A GeV/c) and system size (p+p, p+Pb, Be+Be, Ar+Sc, Xe+La, Pb+Pb) allows for a systematic search for the critical point-a search for a non-monotonic dependence of various correlation and fluctuation observables on collision energy and size of colliding nuclei. Design of a Very Low Energy Beamline for NA61/SHINE
/ Mussolini, Carlo Alberto (CERN ; JAI, UK ; Oxford U.) ; Burrows, Philip (JAI, UK ; Oxford U.) ; Charitonidis, Nikolaos (CERN) ; Nagai, Yoshikazu (Eotvos U.) ; Zimmerman, Eric (U. Colorado, Boulder)
A new, low-energy branch is being designed for the H₂ beamline at the CERN North Experimental Area. This new low-energy branch would extend the capabilities of the current infrastructure enabling the study of particles in the low, 1 - 13 GeV/c, momentum range. [...]

NA61/SHINE and EMPHATIC hadron production measurements for neutrino physics
/ Pavin, Matej (TRIUMF)
/NA61/SHINE Collaboration ; EMPHATIC Collaboration
Accelerator-based neutrino experiments produce neutrino parent particles, mostly pions, and kaons in proton interactions with a nuclear target. Consequently, these hadrons decay to neutrinos and give rise to a high-intensity neutrino beam. [...]
