Transverse-momentum Spectra of Hadrons in $p+p$ Collisions at CERN SPS Energies from the UrQMD Transport Model / Ozvenchuk, V (Cracow, INP) ; Rybicki, A (Cracow, INP)
The UrQMD transport model, version 3.4, is used to study the new experimental data on total yields, rapidity distributions and transversemomentum spectra of π ± and K± produced in inelastic p + p interactions at SPS energies, recently published by the NA61/SHINE Collaboration. The comparison of model predictions to these new measurements is presented as a function of collision energy for central and forward particle rapidity intervals. [...]

News from the NA61/SHINE experiment / Šuša, Tatjana (Boskovic Inst., Zagreb) /NA61/SHINE Collaboration
The main goals of the NA61/SHINE experiment at the CERN SPS are the search for the critical point of strongly interacting matter and the study of the properties of the onset of deconfinement. These aims are pursued by performing a two-dimensional scan of the phase diagram of strongly interacting matter by varying the momentum and size of the colliding nuclei. This contribution summarises the latest results from the NA61/SHINE experiment, in particular, new results on spectra and yields of $\phi$ meson in p+p interactions at 40, 80 and 158 GeV/c and $K^{+}$ and $K^{-}$ production in central Be+Be collisions at mid-rapidity. Recent results from NA61/SHINE / Kowalski, Seweryn (Silesia U.) ; Pulawski, Szymon (Silesia U.) /NA61 Collaboration
The research programme of the NA61 collaboration covers a wide range of hadronic physics in the CERN SPS energy range, encompassesing measurements of hadron-hadron, hadron-nucleus as well as nucleus-nucleus collisions. The latter are analysed to better understand the properties of hot and dense nuclear matter. [...]

Searching for the critical point of strongly interacting matter in nucleus-nucleus collisions at CERN SPS / Davis, Nikolaos (Cracow, INP) /NA61/SHINE Collaboration
The search for experimental signatures of the critical point (CP) of strongly interacting matter is one of the main objectives of the NA61/SHINE experiment at CERN SPS. In the course of the experiment, a beam momentum and system size scan is performed. [...]

Mesons in NA61/SHINE / Marcinek, Antoni (Cracow, INP) /NA61/SHINE Collaboration
This contribution presents a selection of recent results on meson production from the NA61/SHINE experiment. The results include spectra of ø mesons in p + p collisions at 40, 80 and 158 GeV/c beam momenta, as well as π±, K±, ρ0, ω and K*0 mesons in π− + C collisions at 158 GeV/c and 350 GeV/c. [...]

Search for critical behavior of strongly interacting matter in the NA61/SHINE experiment / Prokhorova, Daria (St. Petersburg State U.) /NA61/SHINE Collaboration
NA61/SHINE is a fixed-target experiment at CERN SPS which studies strongly interacting matter. The search for experimental signatures of the critical point is performed via a comprehensive two-dimensional scan of the phase diagram of strongly interacting matter by changing beam momenta (13A - 150A GeV/c) and the size of colliding systems (p+p, p+Pb, Be+Be, Ar+Sc, Xe+La, Pb+Pb). NA61/SHINE experiment at CERN SPS: Recent results, current status and perspectives / Brzychczyk, Janusz (Jagiellonian U.) /NA61/SHINE Collaboration
The NA61/SHINE experiment at the CERN SPS studies hadron production properties in hadron-nucleus and nucleus-nucleus collisions. Recent results from p+p, Be+Be and Ar+Sc interactions provide new data on the system size and energy dependence of hadron multiplicities, spectra and fluctuations. [...]

Pseudorapidity dependence of multiplicity and transverse momentum fluctuations at the SPS energies / Prokhorova, Daria (St. Petersburg State U.) /NA61/SHINE collaboration
A search for the critical behavior of strongly interacting matter was done by studying the event-by-event fluctuations of multiplicity and transverse momentum of charged hadrons produced in inelastic p+p collisions and central Be+Be and Ar+Sc collisions at the NA61/SHINE experiment. Results for energy dependence of the scaled variance of the multiplicity distribution and for two families of strongly intensive measures of multiplicity and transverse momentum fluctuations Δ[PT, N] and Σ[PT, N] were presented. Recent results of strong interaction program from NA61/SHINE experiment at CERN SPS / Melkumov, Georgy (Dubna, JINR) /NA61/SHINE collaboration
The NA61/SHINE experiment at the CERN SPS pursues a rich program of strong interactions. The main physics goals of this program are the study of properties of the onset of deconfinement and search for the signatures of the critical point of strongly interacting matter by performing the two-dimensional scan in a broad region of energy (beam momentum 13A-158A GeV/c) and system size (p+p, Be+Be, Ar+Sc and Xe+La).Recent NA61/SHINE results on particle spectra and event-by-event fluctuations in p+p, Be+Be and Ar+Sc collisions are shown with emphasis on the measurements of particle ratios, namely of pion a strangeness production, multiplicity fluctuations versus energy and the system size of colliding nuclei. It will be shown that the hadron production properties in heavy ion collisions which change rapidly in the low SPS energy domain and are interpreted as the beginning of quark-gluon plasma production – onset of deconfinement could be also the case in inelastic p+p interactions and probably in Be+Be collisions. The paper presents a selection of NA61/SHINE results on particle production properties discussed together with existing data from the NA49 collaboration.
