Several Topics on Beam Dynamics in FCC-ee / Oide, Katsunobu (KEK, Tsukuba) ; Aumon, Sandra (CERN) ; Charles, Tessa (CERN) ; El Khechen, Dima (CERN) ; Shatilov, Dmitry (Novosibirsk, IYF) ; Tydecks, Tobias (CERN)
The FCC-ee is a double-ring $e^+e^-$ collider to be installed in a common tunnel of∼ 100km circumference, as a po- tential first step before the FCC-hh hadron collider. Several studies on the beam dynamics at FCC-ee: low emittance tuning, dynamic aperture, beam blowup with/without beam beam, are introduced in the paper..

FCC Physics Opportunities : Future Circular Collider Conceptual Design Report Volume 1 Vol. 1
Physics Opportunities
/ Mangano, Michelangelo (CERN) ; Azzi, Patrizia (Universita e INFN, Padova (IT)) ; Benedikt, Michael (CERN) ; Blondel, Alain (Universite de Geneve (CH)) ; Britzger, Daniel Andreas (Max-Planck-Institut fur Physik (DE)) ; Dainese, Andrea (Universita e INFN, Padova (IT)) ; Dam, Mogens (University of Copenhagen (DK)) ; de Blas, Jorge (INFN) ; Enterria, David (CERN) ; Fischer, Oliver (Karlsuhe Institute of Technology) et al.
This volume of the Conceptual Design Report is dedicated to an overview of the FCC physics potential. It focuses on the most significant targets of the potential FCC research programme but, for the sake of space, not covering a large body of science that will nevertheless be accessible (and which is documented in various other reports, listed in the Appendix). A rotatory mount is being designed at CERN to determine the position of the axis of a 0.1 mm in diameter stretched wire with a sub- micron accuracy. As part of its role as world-wide leader in high energy particle physics, CERN is studying how to build a Compact Linear Collider (CLIC). One of the biggest challenges of this electron-positron collider is the alignment required for all the components acting on the beam: thousands of components will have to be assembled and aligned at the micrometre level. Study of the electrical centre of a resonant cavity Beam Position Monitor (RF-BPM) and its integration with the main quadrupole for alignment purposes / Zorzetti, S (CERN and University of Pisa) ; Wendt, M (CERN) ; Fanucci, L (University of Pisa)
To achieve the luminosity goals in a next generation linear collider, acceleration and preservation of ultra-low emittance particle beams is mission critical and requires a precise align- ment between the main accelerator components. PACMAN is an innovative doctoral training program, hosted by CERN, with the goal of developing high accuracy metrology and alignment methods and tools to integrate those components in a standalone, automatic test bench.
