 Boosted Gluon Fusion Higgs to bb Trigger Efficiency in 2018 Data /CMS Collaboration This note presents the performance of a single jet high level trigger in proton-proton collisions recorded during early 2018. The trigger has been developed for the search of gluon fusion produced Higgs decaying to a pair of b quarks and utilizes a multivariate discriminant that determines the likelihood a jet contains two b quarks..  Silicon Strip Tracker Performance results 2018 /CMS Collaboration A campaign of measurements has been performed in 2018 to evaluate the performances of the CMS Silicon Strip Tracker. The hit efficiency and resolution measurements show a stability of the performances with results compatible with the one obtained in 2017. The hit inefficiency is predominantly due to highly ionizing particles occurring within the sensitive volume and inducing dead time in the detector. The probabilities of such rare events have been measured per p-p interaction during dedicated runs. [...] CMS-DP-2018-052; CERN-CMS-DP-2018-052.- Geneva : CERN, 2018 - 21 p. Fulltext: PDF;

 Tracking POG results for pion efficiency with the D* meson using data from 2016 and 2017 /CMS Collaboration In this note the tracking efficiency measurement results are shown for data collected in 2016 and 2017. The charged pion relative efficiency is measured with an indirect method from the reconstruction of two decay chains $D^* \rightarrow D^0\pi \rightarrow k\pi\pi_{slow}$ and $D^* \rightarrow D^0\pi \rightarrow k3\pi\pi_{slow}$ in data and MonteCarlo. The uncertainty of this measurement will be systematic uncertainty associated to the charged hadron reconstruction in CMS.. CMS-DP-2018-050; CERN-CMS-DP-2018-050.- Geneva : CERN, 2018 - 10 p. Performances of $E_T^{\text{miss}}$ trigger for heavy diboson searches in 2018 data /CMS Collaboration Performances of a $E_T^{\text{miss}}$ trigger path have been studied on 2018 data collected by the CMS detector, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of $16.6 \text{ fb}^{-1}$, as a function of the offline missing transverse momentum, after the transverse momenta of the muons are removed from the computation, and as a function of the number of primary vertices reconstructed offline.. Performance of Deep Tagging Algorithms for Boosted Double Quark Jet Topology in Proton-Proton Collisions at 13 TeV with the Phase-0 CMS Detector /CMS Collaboration For many searches for new physics at the LHC, it is important to distinguish jets that originate from the merged decay products of resonances produced with high transverse momentum from jets that originate from single partons. We present three algorithms that aim to distinguish the b$\mathrm{\bar{b}}$ and c$\mathrm{\bar{c}}$ decay modes of such resonances from light flavour jets, as well as distinguish between the two.
