Transient Monte Carlo Simulations for the Optimisation and Characterisation of Monolithic Silicon Sensors
/ Ballabriga Sune, Rafael (CERN) ; Braach, Justus (Hamburg University (DE)) ; Buschmann, Eric (CERN) ; Campbell, Michael (CERN) ; Dannheim, Dominik (CERN) ; Dort, Katharina (Justus-Liebig-Universitaet Giessen (DE)) ; Huth, Lennart (Deutsches Elektronen-Synchrotron (DE)) ; Kremastiotis, Iraklis (KIT - Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (DE)) ; Kroeger, Jens (Ruprecht Karls Universitaet Heidelberg (DE)) ; Linssen, Lucie (CERN) et al.
An ever-increasing demand for high-performance silicon sensors requires complex sensor designs that are challenging to simulate and model. The combination of electrostatic finite element simulations with a transient Monte Carlo approach provides simultaneous access to precise sensor modelling and high statistics. [...]

Dark matter searches with mono-photon signature at future e+e− colliders
/ Zarnecki, Aleksander (University of Warsaw (PL))
One of the important goals of the proposed future e+e− collider experiments is the search for dark matter (DM) particles using different experimental approaches. The most general one is based on the mono-photon signature, which is expected when production of the invisible final state is accompanied by a hard photon from initial state radiation. [...]

Searches for invisible scalar decays at CLIC
/ Mekala, Krzysztof (University of Warsaw (PL)) ; Zarnecki, Aleksander (University of Warsaw (PL)) ; Grzadkowski, B (University of Warsaw (PL)) ; Iglicki, M (University of Warsaw (PL))
The Compact LInear Collider (CLIC) is a proposed TeV-scale high-luminosity electron-positron collider at CERN. The first CLIC running stage, at 380 GeV, will focus on precision Higgs boson and top quark studies while the main aim of the subsequent high-energy stages, at 1.5 TeV and 3 TeV, is to extend the sensitivity of CLIC to different Beyond the Standard Model (BSM) scenarios. [...]

Dark matter searches with mono-photon signature at future e+e− colliders
/ Kalinowski, Jan Henryk (University of Warsaw (PL)) ; Kotlarski, Wojciech (Institut für Kern- und Teilchenphysik, TU Dresden) ; Mekala, Krzysztof (University of Warsaw (PL)) ; Sopicki, Pawel (University of Warsaw (PL)) ; Zarnecki, Aleksander (University of Warsaw (PL))
As any e+e− scattering process can be accompanied by a hard photon emission from the initial state radiation, the analysis of the energy spectrum and angular distributions of those photons can be used to search for hard processes with an invisible final state. Thus high energy e+e− colliders offer a unique possibility for the most general search of Dark matter based on the mono-photon signature. [...]
