CERN meets industry at the Big Science Business Forum

Big science equals big business, whether it is manufacturing giant superconducting magnets for particle colliders or perfecting mirror coatings for space telescopes. Last week, the Big Science Business Forum (BSBF), in Copenhagen, Denmark, saw more than 1000 delegates from more than 500 companies and organisations spanning 30 countries discuss opportunities in the current big-science landscape.

Ferdinand Hahn (1959-2018)

We deeply regret to announce the death of Mr Ferdinand Hahn on 4 March 2018.
Mr Hahn, who was born on 12 July 1959, worked in the EP department and had been at CERN since 18 May 1987.
The Director-General has sent a message of condolence to his family on behalf of the CERN personnel.

Monsieur Ferdinand Hahn, né le 12 juillet 1959, travaillait au Département EP et était au CERN depuis le 18 mai 1987.
La Directrice générale a envoyé un message de condoléances à sa famille de la part du personnel du CERN.
