Theory of rare kaon decays / D'Ambrosio, Giancarlo (INFN, Naples) I review rare kaon decays in the LHC era: we discuss interplay with B-anomalies and possible New Physics in direct CP violation in $K → 2π$: very rare kaon decays like $K → πν\overline{ν}$ are very important to this purpose We discuss also the decays $K^0 → μ^+ μ^−$ due to the LHCB measurement.. 2018 - 4 p. - Published in : (2018) , pp. 319-322 In : 53rd Rencontres de Moriond on QCD and High Energy Interactions, La Thuile, Italy, 17 - 24 Mar 2018, pp.319-322

Precision measurement of the form factors of semileptonic charged kaon decays from NA48/2 / Shkarovskiy, S (Dubna, JINR) ; Anzivino, G ; Arcidiacono, R ; Baldini, W ; Balev, S ; Batley, J R ; Behler, M ; Bifani, S ; Biino, C ; Bizzeti, A et al. /NA48/2 We present a measurement of the charged kaon semileptonic form factors based on 4.3 million $K^± → π^0 e^± \nu_e$ and 2.9 million $K^± → π^0 μ^± \nu_μ$ decays collectedby the NA48/2 experiment. The single results for the semi-electronic and semi-muonic channel have better and similar precision, respectively, than previousmeasurements. Computing Planar Five-Gluon Amplitudes with Numerical Unitarity / Abreu, Samuel (Freiburg U.) ; Febres Cordero, Fernando (Freiburg U.) ; Ita, Harald (Freiburg U.) ; Page, Ben (Freiburg U.) ; Zeng, Mao (UCLA) We discuss the numerical unitarity method for the computation of two-loop scattering amplitudes relevant for LHC phenomenology. We extend one-loop technologies by making use of novel ideas such as a geometric construction of surface terms and finite field numerics. Search for dark photons at NA62 / Mirra, Marco (Naples U.) ; Aliberti, R ; Ambrosino, F ; Ammendola, R ; Angelucci, B ; Antonelli, A ; Anzivino, G ; Arcidiacono, R ; Barbanera, M ; Biagioni, A et al. /NA62 Fixed target experiments are a particularly useful tool in the search of very weakly coupled particles in the MeV-GeV range that could represent the mediators of a number of portals to a hidden sector, an example being the dark photon. The NA62 experiment at the CERN SPS is currently taking data. The doubly charged scalar: current status and perspectives / Ghezzi, Margherita (PSI, Villigen) The minimal extension of the Standard Model consisting in a doubly charged SU(2)-singlet scalar is theoretically well motivated by a mechanism ofgeneration of the neutrino masses. As this particle allows for lepton flavourviolation, the model is partially constrained by low energy flavour physics.Limits on the mass are also set by direct searches at LHC. Searches for exotic Higgs bosons with the ATLAS and CMS experiments / Raspereza, A (DESY) This note presents searches for a light pseudoscalar boson produced in decays of the 125 GeV Higgs boson, and for a doubly charged Higgs boson, performed by the ATLAS and CMS collaborations using run-2 LHC data collected at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV.. 2018 - 4 p. - Published in : (2018) , pp. 135-138 In : 53rd Rencontres de Moriond on QCD and High Energy Interactions, La Thuile, Italy, 17 - 24 Mar 2018, pp.135-138

Explaining the Flavour Anomalies with Leptoquarks / Crivellin, Andreas (PSI, Villigen) Several experiments observed deviations from the Standard Model (SM) in the flavour sector: LHCb found a 5 $σ$ discrepancy compared to the SM in $b → sμ^+ μ^−$ transitions (including hints for lepton flavour universality violation (LFUV) in $R(K)$ and $R(K*))$. In addition BELLE, BABAR and LHCb founds hints for LFUV in $b →cτ\nu$ transitions at the 4 $σ$ level. Recent LHCb measurements of $CP$ violation and mixing in beauty and charm / Tellarini, G (INFN, Ferrara) This document reports an ensemble of recent LHCb measurements of $CP$ violation indifferent $b$-hadron decays. Recent studies of $CP$ violation in the charm sectorand of $D^0$-$\overline{D}^0$ mixing are also presented.. 2018 - 4 p. - Published in : (2018) , pp. 61-64 In : 53rd Rencontres de Moriond on QCD and High Energy Interactions, La Thuile, Italy, 17 - 24 Mar 2018, pp.61-64

SM higgs production and decay at the LHC / Spira, M (PSI, Villigen) The recent discovery of the Higgs boson at the LHC marked the completion of the Standard Model of strong and electroweak interactions. I will summarize the theoretical ingredients involved in the production and decay processes at the LHC that allowed for a quite concise picture of the properties of the discovered resonance. MALTA: a CMOS pixel sensor with asynchronous readout for the ATLAS High-Luminosity upgrade / Berdalovic, Ivan (CERN ; U. Zagreb (main)) ; Argemi, Lluis Simon (Glasgow U.) ; Cardella, Roberto (CERN) ; Dachs, Florian (CERN) ; Dao, Valerio (CERN) ; Flores Sanz de Acedo, Leyre (CERN) ; Hemperek, Tomasz (Bonn U.) ; Hiti, Bojan (Stefan Inst., Ljubljana) ; Kugathasan, Thanushan (CERN) ; Marin Tobon, Cesar Augusto (CERN) et al. Radiation hard silicon sensors are required for the upgrade of the ATLAS tracking detector for the High-Luminosity Large Hadron Collider (HL-LHC) at CERN. A process modification in a standard 0.18 μm CMOS imaging technology combines small, low-capacitance electrodes (~2 fF for the sensor) with a fully depleted active sensor volume [...] Nov. - 4 p. - Published in : 10.1109/NSSMIC.2018.8824349 In : 2018 IEEE Nuclear Science Symposium and Medical Imaging Conference (NSS/MIC 2018), Sydney, Australia, 10 - 17 Nov 2018, pp.8824349
