Role of IR-Improvement in Precision LHC/FCC Physics and in Quantum Gravity / Ward, Bennie (Baylor U.) ; Jadach, S. (Cracow, INP) ; Placzek, W. (Cracow, INP) ; Skrzypek, M. (Cracow, INP) ; Was, Z. (Cracow, INP) ; Yost, S. (Citadel Military Coll.)
IR-improvement based on amplitude-level resummation allows one to control unintegrable results in quantum field theory with arbitrary precision in principle. We illustrate such resummation in specific examples in precision LHC and FCC physics and in quantum gravity..

SixTrack V and runtime environment / De Maria, R (CERN) ; Andersson, J (CERN) ; Berglyd Olsen, V K (CERN) ; Field, L (CERN) ; Giovannozzi, M (CERN) ; Hermes, P D (CERN) ; Høimyr, N (CERN) ; Kostoglou, S (CERN) ; Iadarola, G (CERN) ; Mcintosh, E (CERN) et al.
SixTrack is a single-particle tracking code for high-energy circular accelerators routinely used at CERN for the Large Hadron Collider (LHC), its luminosity upgrade (HL-LHC), the Future Circular Collider (FCC) and the Super Proton Synchrotron (SPS) simulations. The code is based on a 6D symplectic tracking engine, which is optimized for long-term tracking simulations and delivers fully reproducible results on several platforms. [...]

Tests of the module array of the ECAL0 electromagnetic calorimeter for the COMPASS experiment with the electron beam at ELSA / Anfimov, N (Dubna, JINR) ; Anosov, V (Dubna, JINR) ; Barth, J (Bonn U.) ; Chalyshev, V (Dubna, JINR) ; Chirikov-Zorin, I (Dubna, JINR) ; Dziewiecki, M (Warsaw U. of Tech.) ; Elsner, D (Bonn U.) ; Frolov, V (Dubna, JINR) ; Frommberger, F (Bonn U.) ; Guskov, A (Dubna, JINR) et al.
The array of 3 × 3 modules of the electromagnetic calorimeter ECAL0 of the COMPASS experiment at CERN has been tested with an electron beam of the ELSA (Germany) facility. The dependence of the response and the energy resolution of the calorimeter from the angle of incidence of the electron beam has been studied. [...]

Beam test results for a tungsten-cerium fluoride sampling calorimeter with wavelength-shifting fiber readout / Becker, R (Zurich, ETH) ; Candelise, V (INFN, Trieste ; Trieste U.) ; Cavallari, F (INFN, Rome) ; Dafinei, I (INFN, Rome) ; Della Ricca, G (INFN, Trieste ; Trieste U.) ; Diemoz, M (INFN, Rome) ; del Re, D (INFN, Rome ; Rome U.) ; D'Imperio, G (INFN, Rome ; Rome U.) ; Dissertori, G (Zurich, ETH) ; Donegà, M (Zurich, ETH) et al.
A sampling calorimeter using cerium fluoride scintillating crystals as active material, interleaved with heavy absorber plates, and read out by wavelength-shifting (WLS) fibers is being studied as a calorimeter option for detectors at the upgraded High-Luminosity LHC (HL-LHC) collider at CERN. A prototype has been exposed to electron beams of different energies at the INFN Frascati (Italy) Beam Test Facility. [...]

Highlights on searches for supersymmetry and exotic models / Clerbaux, Barbara (Brussels U.)
In this review, we present highlight results of the first three years of the LHC running on searches for new physics beyond the Standard Model. The excellent performance of the LHC machine and detectors has provided a large, high-quality dataset, mainly proton–proton interactions at a centre of mass energy of 7 TeV (collected in 2010 and 2011) and 8 TeV (collected in 2012). [...]

The Higgs boson discovery and measurements / Nicolaidou, Rosy (IRFU, SPP, Saclay) ; Sirois, Yves (Ecole Polytechnique)
The discovery of the Higgs boson at a mass around 125 GeV by the ATLAS and CMS experiments at the LHC collider in 2012 establishes a new landscape in high-energy physics. The analysis of the full data sample collected with pp collisions at centre-of-mass energies of 7 and 8 TeV has allowed for considerable progress since the discovery. [...]

Evolution of quadrupole collectivity in N=80 isotones toward the Z=64 subshell gap: The $B(E2;2_{1}^{+} \rightarrow 0_{1}^{+})$ value of $^{142}$Sm / Stegmann, R (Darmstadt, Tech. Hochsch.) ; Bauer, C (Darmstadt, Tech. Hochsch.) ; Rainovski, G (Sofiya U.) ; Pietralla, N (Darmstadt, Tech. Hochsch.) ; Stahl, C (Darmstadt, Tech. Hochsch.) ; Bönig, S (Darmstadt, Tech. Hochsch.) ; Ilieva, S (Darmstadt, Tech. Hochsch.) ; Blazhev, A (Cologne U.) ; Damyanova, A (Sofiya U. ; Geneva U.) ; Danchev, M (Sofiya U.) et al.
It was shown that the evolution of the $B(E2;2_{1}^{+} \rightarrow 0_{1}^{+})$ values in $N$ = 80 isotones from Te to Nd is affected by the underlying subshell structure. This manifests itself in the observation of the local suppression of the $B(E2)$ value at $Z$ = 58 with respect to the neighboring nuclei $^{136}$Ba and $^{140}$Nd. [...]

Simulation studies of the beam cooling process in presence of heating effects in the Extra Low ENergy Antiproton ring (ELENA) / Resta-López, J (Cockcroft Inst. Accel. Sci. Tech. ; Liverpool U.) ; Hunt, J R (Cockcroft Inst. Accel. Sci. Tech. ; Liverpool U.) ; Karamyshev, O (Cockcroft Inst. Accel. Sci. Tech. ; Liverpool U.) ; Welsch, C P (Cockcroft Inst. Accel. Sci. Tech. ; Liverpool U.)
The Extra Low ENergy Antiproton ring (ELENA) is a small synchrotron equipped with an electron cooler, which is currently being constructed at CERN to further decelerate antiprotons from the Antiproton Decelerator (AD) from 5.3 MeV to energies as low as 100 keV. At such low energies it is very important to carefully take contributions from electron cooling and beam heating mechanisms (e.g. [...]
