Firmware oriented trigger algorithm for CMS Drift Tubes in HL-LHC / Goy Lopez, Silvia (Madrid, CIEMAT)
A full replacement of the muon trigger system in the CMS (Compact Muon Solenoid) detector is envisaged for operating at the maximum instantaneous luminosities expected in HL-LHC (High Luminosity Large Hadron Collider) of about $5-7.5\times10^{34}$~cm$^{-2}$s$^{-1}$. Under this scenario, the new on detector electronics that is being designed for the DT (Drift Tubes) detector will forward all the chamber information at its maximum time resolution. [...]

Study of the effects of radiation on the CMS Drift Tubes Muon Detector for the HL-LHC / Gonzalez Caballero, Isidro (Oviedo U.)
The CMS drift tubes (DT) muon detector, built for standing up the LHC expected integrated and instantaneous luminosities, will be used also in the High Luminosity LHC (HL-LHC) at a 5 times larger instantaneous luminosity and, consequently, much higher levels of radiation, reaching about 10 times the LHC integrated luminosity. Initial irradiation tests of a spare DT chamber at the CERN gamma irradiation facility (GIF++), at large (~O(100)) acceleration factor, showed ageing effects resulting in a degradation of the DT cell performance.
