Measurement of the mass and production rate of $\Xi_b^-$ baryons
The first measurement of the production rate of $\Xi_b^-$ baryons in $pp$ collisions relative to that of $\Lambda_b^0$ baryons is reported, using data samples collected by the LHCb experiment, and corresponding to integrated luminosities of 1, 2 and 1.6~fb$^{-1}$ at $\sqrt{s}=7,~8$ and 13~TeV, respectively. Understanding sequential quarkonium suppression with $\Upsilon(nS)$ measurements in pp and PbPb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{NN}}$ = 5.02 TeV / Park, Jaebeom (Korea U.) /CMS Collaboration
The production cross sections of the $\Upsilon(1S)$, $\Upsilon(2S)$, and $\Upsilon(3S)$ states were measured separately using the CMS experimental apparatus, in proton-proton (pp) and lead-lead (PbPb) collisions at 5.02 TeV. The final results of the nuclear modification factors, $R_{AA}$, are reported of the three upsilon states as a function of transverse momentum ($p_{T}$), rapidity ($y$) and PbPb collision centrality. The data show a significant suppression of all three states following a sequential ordering, $R_{AA}(\Upsilon(1S)) > R_{AA}(\Upsilon(2S)) > R_{AA}(\Upsilon(3S))$. [...]

Search for supersymmetry in events with a photon, jets, b-jets, and missing transverse momentum in proton-proton collisions at 13 TeV
A search for supersymmetry is presented based on events with at least one photon, jets, and large missing transverse momentum produced in proton-proton collisions at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV. [...]

Measurement of exclusive Upsilon photoproduction in pPb collisions with the CMS experiment / Naskar, Kousik (Bhabha Atomic Res. Ctr.) /CMS Collaboration
The aim of this study is to measure exclusive photoproduction of three resonant particles, $\bf \Upsilon(1S)$, $\bf \Upsilon(2S)$ and $\bf \Upsilon(3S)$ mesons,in their $\mu^{+}\mu^{-}$ decay modes, in ultraperipheral pPb collisions. The $\bf \Upsilon(1S)$ photoproduction cross section are measured, over the rapidity range $\vert y \vert < 2.2$, as a function of the photon-proton center-of-mass energy, $W_{\gamma p}$, which provides valuable information of the gluon distribution at small values of parton fractional momenta $x$. The slope of the squared transverse momentum ($p_{T}^2$) dependent differential cross section is measured to determine the size of the production region. [...]
