Groomed jet substructure measurements of charm jets tagged with $\rm{D}^{0}$ mesons in pp collisions at $\sqrt{s}$ = 13 TeV /ALICE Collaboration
The ALICE collaboration at the CERN LHC reports the first measurements of groomed jet substructure observables for jets containing a fully reconstructed D^{0} in pp collisions at √s = 13 TeV. Iterative declustering techniques access the jet splitting tree of track-based jets, with grooming techniques isolating the perturbative branches. [...]

Global electroweak fit in the FCC-ee era / Erler, J (Mexico U. ; U. Mainz, PRISMA) ; Schott, M (U. Mainz, PRISMA)
The top quark and Higgs boson masses have been predicted before their respective discoveries by the global fit of the Standard Model to electroweak precision data. With the Higgs boson discovery and the measurement of its mass, the last missing parameter of the Standard Model has been fixed and thus the internal consistency of the Standard Model can be probed at a new level by comparing direct measurements with the indirect predictions of the global electroweak fit. RF multipoles deliverable / Cruz Alaniz, Emilia (University of Liverpool (GB)) ; Papaphilippou, Yannis (CERN) ; Welsch, Carsten Peter (University of Liverpool (GB))
The crab cavities to be installed in the High-Luminosity LHC (HL-LHC) aim to provide an increase in luminosity by restoring head-on collisions and therefore reducing the loss of luminosity due to the crossing angle. [...]

A Mathematica Notebook for the calculation of the anomalous skin effect in copper / Calatroni, Sergio (CERN)
This Mathematica Notebook allows calculating the RF surface impedance of copper, in the normal and anomalous skin effect regimes, for any value of frequency, temperature and magnetic field (thus including magnetoresistance effects). [...]

Toward inertial sensing with a 2$^{3}$S positronium beam / Mariazzi, Sebastiano (Trento U. ; TIFPA-INFN, Trento) ; Caravita, Ruggero (TIFPA-INFN, Trento ; CERN) ; Doser, Michael (CERN) ; Nebbia, Giancarlo (INFN, Padua) ; Brusa, Roberto S (TIFPA-INFN, Trento ; Trento U.)
In this work, we discuss the possibility of inertial sensing with positronium in the 2$^{3}$S metastable state for the measurement of optical dipole, relativistic and gravitational forces on a purely leptonic matter-antimatter system. Starting from the characteristics of an available 2$^{3}$S beam, we estimate the time necessary to measure accelerations ranging from ~10$^{5}$ m/s$^{2}$ to 9.1 m/s$^{2}$ with two different inertial sensitive devices: a classical moiré deflectometer and a Mach–Zehnder interferometer [...]

Helical beam screen for the Future Circular Collider for hadrons injection kicker magnets / Chmielińska, A (CERN ; Ecole Polytechnique, Lausanne) ; Barnes, M J (CERN)
The Future Circular Collider for hadrons (FCC-hh) is the proposed high-energy frontier particle collider, which is expected to enable proton-proton collisions at a center-of-mass energy of 100 TeV. The specifications for the FCC-hh injection kicker system are very challenging. [...]

Probing LHC halo dynamics using collimator loss rates at 6.5 TeV / Gorzawski, A (CERN ; Malta U.) ; Appleby, R B (Manchester U. ; Cockcroft Inst. Accel. Sci. Tech.) ; Giovannozzi, M (CERN) ; Mereghetti, A (CERN) ; Mirarchi, D (CERN) ; Redaelli, S (CERN) ; Salvachua, B (CERN) ; Stancari, G (Fermilab) ; Valentino, G (Malta U.) ; Wagner, J F (CERN ; CERN ; Frankfurt U.)
Halo diffusion measurements at the CERN Large Hadron Collider (LHC) were conducted with beams for physics at 6.5 TeV by means of collimator scans, carried out between 2016 and 2018. From the time evolution of the beam losses recorded during a collimator scan, in which collimator jaws are moved in steps toward the beam core cutting beam tails, one can extract information on the halo diffusion and its population as a function of the transverse amplitude. Generation of incoherent Cherenkov diffraction radiation in synchrotrons / Kieffer, R (CERN) ; Bartnik, L (Cornell U.) ; Bergamaschi, M (CERN) ; Bleko, V V (Dubna, JINR) ; Billing, M (Cornell U.) ; Bobb, L (Diamond Light Source) ; Conway, J (Cornell U.) ; Forster, M (Cornell U.) ; Karataev, P (Royal Holloway, U. of London) ; Konkov, A S (Dubna, JINR) et al.
Incoherent Cherenkov diffraction radiation was recently produced in the Cornell electron storage ring using counterpropagating beams (electrons and positrons) passing in the close vicinity of a dielectric made of fused silica. We present in this paper a collection of the experimental investigations that were performed on Cherenkov diffraction radiation in both the infrared and the visible range. [...]
