Measurement of jet structure and substructure in heavy ion collisions with ATLAS / Rybar, Martin (Nevis Laboratory, Columbia University) /ATLAS Collaboration
Studies of jet structure in heavy-ion collisions can provide information about the mechanism of jet quenching in the hot and dense QCD medium created in these collisions. This talk presents the latest ATLAS measurement of the internal structure of jets to shed more light on the modification of the parton showering process in the presence of the medium. [...]

Measurement of the Azimuthal Anisotropy of Charged Particle Production in Xe+Xe Collisions at $\sqrt{s_{NN}}$=5.44 TeV with the ATLAS Detector / Yin, Pengqi (Nevis Laboratory, Columbia University) /ATLAS Collaboration
ATLAS measurements of flow harmonics ($v_{n}$) in Xe+Xe collisions are presented. The measurements are performed using two-particle correlations, multi-particle cumulants and scalar product methods. [...]

ATLAS measurements of transverse and longitudinal flow fluctuations in Pb+Pb and Xe+Xe collisions / Mohapatra, Soumya (Nevis Laboratory, Columbia University) /ATLAS Collaboration
ATLAS measurements of flow harmonics ($v_n$) and their fluctuations in Pb+Pb and Xe+Xe collisions covering a wide range of transverse momenta, pseudorapidity and collision centrality are presented. The $v_n$ are measured up to $n=7$ using the two-particle correlations, multi-particle cumulants and scalar product methods. The $v_n$ for $n$=2-7 is obtained with various correlation methods, together with a non-flow subtraction technique to improve the understanding of flow in peripheral region.A universal scaling in the $p_T$ dependence of the

Measurements of Dileptons and Photon Pairs from Two-photon Scattering in Ultra-Peripheral and Hadronic Pb+Pb Collisions with ATLAS Detector / Palni, Prabhakar (AGH University of Science and Technology, Faculty of Physics and Applied Computer Science, Krakow) /ATLAS Collaboration
In ultra-relativistic heavy-ion collisions, one expects copious rates of γ + γ processes through the interaction of the large electromagnetic fields of the nuclei, which can produce new particles (e.g. leptons) or even lead to light-by-light scattering via loop diagrams. [...]

Quarkonium production in Pb+Pb collisions with ATLAS / Lee, Songkyo (Iowa State University) /ATLAS Collaboration
The experimentally observed dissociation and regeneration of bound quarkonium states in heavy-ion collisions provide a powerful tool to probe the dynamics of the hot, dense plasma. These measurements are sensitive to the effects of color screening, color recombination, and possibly to other, new phenomena affecting dynamics of heavy quarks in the QCD medium. [...]

Bottomonium production in pp and Pb+Pb collisions with ATLAS / Lee, Songkyo (Iowa State University) /ATLAS Collaboration
Bottomonium, a bound state of a bottom quark and its antiquark, is an excellent probe of the hot and dense medium created in heavy-ion collisions at LHC. The ATLAS collaboration collected the large datasets of $\it{pp}$ and Pb+Pb collisions in 2017 and 2018 corresponding to integrated luminosities of 0.26 fb$^{−1}$ and 1.38 nb$^{−1}$ respectively, at a centre-of-mass energy per nucleon pair of 5.02 TeV. New Jet Feature Extraction and Topological Processor modules for ATLAS Phase-I trigger upgrade / Palka, Marek (Jagiellonian University, Marian Smoluchowski Institute of Physics) /ATLAS Collaboration
For Run-3 at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC), ATLAS is planning a major detector and trigger upgrade to be installed during the long shutdown 2. As a part of this, the Level-1 trigger, based on calorimeter data, will be upgraded to exploit the fine granularity readout using a new system of Feature EXtractors (FEXs) and a new Topological Processor (L1Topo) that will process the Trigger Objects (TOBs) send by FEXs and L1Muon, selecting interesting physics events by applying topological constraints. ATLAS Tile Calorimeter Conditions Database architecture and operations in Run-2 / Smirnov, Yuri (Northern Illinois University) ; Chakraborty, Dhiman (Northern Illinois University) ; Solodkov, Alexander (Institute for High Energy Physics of the National Research Centre Kurchatov Institute, Protvino) ; Harkusha, Siarhei (Institute of Physics, National Academy of Sciences) /ATLAS Collaboration
An overview of the Conditions Database (DB) structure for the hadronic Tile Calorimeter (TileCal), one of the ATLAS Detector sub-systems, is presented. ATLAS Conditions DB stores the data on the ORACLE backend, and the design and implementation has been developed using COOL (Conditions Objects for LCG) software package as a common persistency solution for the storage and management of the conditions data.
